Dla waiting times march 2022

Hi everyone,
Anyone waiting for a decision for march guys .. I am so stressed about the outcome it would mean a great deal to my DD to get this award.

@Kc1999x I didn’t realize you could either. @Leanne12321 it’s shocking really is just aswell parents keep fighting or childrens needs would go unnoticed everything is tan so poorly now

My son started showing signs of autism over a year ago, they say don’t compare to other children but I could tell he was so delayed in everything, only at his 2 and a half year check with the visitor have they listened, luckily he’s been on the SALT waiting list since his 2nd birthday but as for everything else was very hard to get someone to listen, was so shocked when he got awarded dla for the first time!

@Kc1999x yeah my daughter is nearly 3 And non verbal I kept flagging things up to health visitor who stated a read Google to much. was only when she started nursery in January that a professional actually sees what Im seeing she’s under salt and now referred to ot by nursery and requesting for 1-1 support for her. I actually cried with happiness when the nursery picked up on it too.

at first my health visitor didn’t care at all, so from age 1 I decided to go to our gp, everything is noted on his medical record from then so I got his SALT referral through the gp, but could only get him referred in January when he turned two, still waiting for his appointment now🤦🏽‍♀️ Started nursery in April, nursery picked up on my boy after 2 days of being there🤦🏽‍♀️ 2 and a half year check the health visitor referred to paed got his appointment soon. He now is on the SEN register, receives 1:1 support, has his support plan in place and nursery are trying to get our referral to portage done so he can have some support through the 6 weeks holiday, nursery have honestly been amazing not sure how the 6 weeks holiday is going to go cause the routine disruption is going to terrible😭

If it’s around the time of your scan date that they’re working on, may be worth a call as sometimes they dont send a text x

Hi I have just received a text saying my son qualifies is it worth ringing them to find out what rate or wait?

Yes they will tell you your rates and what dackdate you will get xx

Hi I just got off the phone to them and he has been awarded lower. I receive child tax credits is it worth ringing them as I'm not sure if my money would increase as I'm only going to receive lower? Sorry to ask all these questions

Hi I’m sorry to jump on here, I’m on week 11 scanned 30th April they said , I keep calling up to see what’s going on they keep saying to wait? how would we no if it’s yes or no without calling as I hate that I keep ringing.

Hi als2017 mine was scanned the 28th April of that helps x

Try giving them a call at 9 in the morning, usually get straight through and then it makes the phone call quick, otherwise you’d either have to wait for money to be in the bank, a text or a letter🤷🏽‍♀️

I know they do🤦🏽‍♀️ But if you’ve been awarded the quickest way to find out and find out the rates and start dates and everything is to call, I found when I rang at 9 it was less stressful and the person who was talking to me was so nice and relaxed😂

I contacted them last week to do a change of address and they said to ring back on Friday as mine should of had a decision by then and it was scanned 3rd may
