I asked for a thread to be deleted BEcause I care about the mums on sn.

Your quote "be man enough to admit it" and "youre fighting with the wrong folk" to me sounds like you are being rude and sarcastic to this woman and letting her know what she's up against.

You just wrote a nursery rhyme, that's what she is up against, someone who could be my grandmother and is on a special needs board writing nursery rhymes.

I honestly think that you all enjoy the arguing. I can keep it up if you want. But I was trying to let it go so we can get back to what's important.

Nope no name change. Never registered on here before. Only a lurker for the past 6 months. You can ask the moderators. They can get my IP and do a search within all the members of this board and see that none will match.

Okay, I'll dignify it....

I was trying to dampen things, mom2asd. Its a ridiculous argument. The general consensus has consistently and persistently stated that they felt that her aggression was misplaced. That she appeared to be attacking other members on the board, and that, it seemed strange that she was willing to expend energy on apparently attacking people on a support board, rather than take the correct political steps to make changes within the country, the government, its legislation, etc, to make the things right that you both want to make right.

And, trying to cajole mamadadawawah into lightening up, realising that she/he was being aggressive to the wrong people - we cant change things as individuals here, and being aggressive towards people will not garner that support for your cause. Therefore, I felt it appropriate to lightheartedly point out that it may be wise to take a step back, realise that the wrong approach had been taken, and be brave enough to admit it.

Seems to me though, you are looking to pick a fight out of anything and everything anyone posts. No point really.

Oh God, you ARE fighting with the wrong folk. We are your comrades, in the same trenches with you, fighting the same battles - for support and understanding and help for our children. We don't need grenades lobbed at us from our own side. We may not always think exactly the same thoughts as you, or agree on how to fight these battles for our children, but that doesn't make us the enemy. This is so incredibly depressing.
