That's all really, stays awake till about 10 or 11, hitting, spitting, throwing, scratching. He has done this every night for 4 months. I am soooo tired and tearful.

Dh days no, I think it has turned into a battle of wills.
He has ruined the cd player by smothering it in moisturiser.

Dd has woken up now too, and is moaning that she has a bunged up nose. Grrrr.

Hang in there. DD1 used to be awake for hours each night. Then we got melatonin and she'd drop off but wake frequently and wake really early.

Gradually, she's improved. Now we have a strict routine, she settles without melatonin on most nights and wakes through the night less frequently.

She still wakes extremely early each morning (well, it's still night, technically) but we get a bit of a block of sleep. She also understands enough now to ask for 'sleepy medicine' when she needs it before bed and will accept sleepy medicine after she's been awake for an hour in the night.

It does get better.

Dh doing his hour shift now, ds is, apparently, going to kill me,throw a very heavy box of toys at me and make me cry. And run me over with his scooter. All because I wont let him stay up all night.

oh i hate this, every single night, even though he had the medicine 1.5 hours ago.
he is screaming, hitting, and apparently 'starving' even though he has had 2 snacks since dinner!

i really feel like just walking out some times.

Checking in for the evening! ilove it's so very draining isn't it?

Wine

DS is awake but calm for the moment (listening to "gangsta granny" audio book with DH). Who knows if he'll remain calm. At least it's not as hot as last night.
