Oh - one more thing.

In the event that Moondog gets more than 20 bookings, she'll keep a waiting list.

OP posts:
PinkShark · 07/05/2014 10:01

cant wait, thanks for organising it all. Can you pls pm me where to send cheque? thx

lougle · 07/05/2014 11:19

Hi PinkShark, if you PM me with your email address, I'll send you the booking form by email.

Same goes for anyone else who is interested - I have the booking form but can't attach it to PMs through MN's system, so I need you to supply me with an email address I can send it to.

If anyone is very private/concerned about identity, you can set up a throwaway email address using hotmail or gmx.com, for example, just for the purposes of receiving the form. Then the only person who will know your details is Moondog.

zzzzz are you sure it has to be Envy and not "Oh me! Me! Me! The one with 5 Z's!"? I have tried and failed to find the post where you explained that you wouldn't be able to come, but I know it's there because I read it and was sad at the time.

It would be so fab to have you there....

One more thing for those of you who are planning to book:

The lovely signandsingcarols has offered to provide lunch in the form of home made chilli and crusty bread.

I've tasted the chilli before and it is seriously good.

Could you let me know if you would like to take sign up on this offer, or if you'd rather bring your own lunches? Either way sign is going to have to make some for me....yum yum.

Just a quick update:

So far I have had 7 requests for booking forms and I'm also booking. If all of those people go ahead and book, we have just twelve places left.

Roll up, Roll up!

Don't forget that the cheques will not be cashed until the event is confirmed to be taking place (ie. when we have 20 bookings).

Also, for any newcomers, this has been passed by MNHQ. The event is bespoke for us and Moondog/Lovely Colleague are giving up their non-working time to put the event on.

I'm going to bed happy. Smile

Tambaboy · 08/05/2014 09:11

I'm looking forward to it. I'm happy to have the chilli, thank you very much.
One quick question, I'm just filling up the form right now but I cannot find where to book the 1:1 slot.

lougle · 08/05/2014 09:58

I think there will be a sign-up sheet on the day, Tambaboy. There are two sessions with a 1:1 clinic so there should be enough slots so everyone who wants/needs one can get one.

Tambaboy · 08/05/2014 10:00

Ah, thank you very much lougle.

youarewinning · 08/05/2014 19:41

Marking place. Will deal with form filling when I have time - but I want to come lougle

HairyMaclary · 08/05/2014 21:23

Aah! We appear to have an issue with dates. Will make everyone else rearrange their diaries as I booked the day first! Will get back to you ASAP.

ConstantCraving · 08/05/2014 21:25

Sad this sounds so good but I can't get to Swindon. If you ever run another in the South East I'll be there.

babiki · 08/05/2014 21:52

Sounds good, quite far :(. Anybody travelling from London/Essex let me know.

lougle · 08/05/2014 21:56

Constantcraving, if you'd like to go and are fairly local to me I could give you a lift. Do you want to PM me with a city you're near to?

OP posts:
lougle · 08/05/2014 21:59

Sorry if the location is tricky -I had to go with the majority, taking into account ease of access, etc. If it's any consultation it is 70 miles away from me, too. sign makes a lovely chilli....

me55monster · 09/05/2014 16:24

Just sent you a PM Lougle - very excited!

To others planning to attend, I've been pondering whether to offer to pay for my DD's TA to come with me. I think it would be really useful for her since we've just started an ABA programme in school that she's implementing (except she doesn't know it's ABA yet!).

I don't know how others would feel about her attending as a non-parent? I certainly don't want to inhibit anyone's participation in the day or the opportunity to vent to others how crap school provision generally is and will totally respect if you all want to keep it to parents/family only. Can you post if you'd rather I didn't ask her (or PM me or Lougle) if you'd rather not say on the thread. No offence taken whatsoever.

lougle · 09/05/2014 17:18

Me55monster, as I've said by PM, I personally don't have any issue with it - if it helps your TA see that these methods are useful and easy to implement, all the better.

If anyone has an objection, could you please raise it very soon, because I've already sent out 12 booking forms and I wouldn't want Me55monster to miss out while she's waiting.

I won't be able to make this one but I did go to a previous one in Birmingham which was excellent. If there was another one in the Midlands I would definitely go again it was a very useful day.
