Sorry been waylaid with poorly dd and trying to persuade her that the antibiotics don't taste like a yaks arse! She's not having it...
Anyway, I've posted my forms back to Moondog. So where does that leave us number wise?

lougle · 13/05/2014 21:10

Well, last I heard, Moondog had received 5 forms/cheques. I think I've sent out 16 forms plus my own, so if everyone who has contacted me to ask for a form goes ahead and sends it to Moondog with their cheque, the event should go ahead. But I'll have to double cheque because the Lougle family has been hit with a vomiting bug so my mind is a bit mashed.

You're so not butting in!! Doodle once wrapped me in his lead because he thought he'd seen something on a path and hid behind me!! He won't go out in the rain, won't walk through leaves, jumps at the sight of headlights in windows... The list goes on.

I'm not really a dog fan but I did laugh this morning when one of the school Mums was standing in the park under an umbrella, in the rain encouraging her dog to run about.

He was standing next to her, - under the umbrella and refusing to move.

Handywoman · 13/05/2014 23:03

My dog flees the kitchen when the toast pops up from the toaster. No word of a lie. Out and about she frequently disgraces herself. I often joke with my best mate that it was inevitable that I would have a dog with, erm, 'needs' Hmm

lougle · 13/05/2014 23:06

Haha!

Frizz, I hope you all get better too!

Thanks everyone - it's actually only dd that's sick, however the drama she creates us unreal, she's 3yrs old! What's she going to be like when she's a teen? Confused. Plus she's the nt one, she's is supposed to be easier.....

Now ds on the other hand, brilliant just likes you to wrap him up, takes medicine without complaint, doesn't whine. Dd had me sat on the sofa hand feeding her crackers - it was 20mins before I realised what I was doing...

Hoping Swindon comes off, as I'm rather looking forward to the silence of a hotel room Smile

lougle · 14/05/2014 10:31

Do you hear that, people? Frizzcat needs a night in a hotel -get your forms in! Grin

me55monster · 15/05/2014 22:49

Just to say Lougle that I haven't yet done my form and am away now for next few days (and not packed a thing aarghh) but I am definitely coming. Will hear from TA next week as to whether she wants to come too so I'm a definite 1 and a possible 2.

lougle · 15/05/2014 23:03

Great, me55monster.

If anyone else wants to come there are two or three spaces left.

I can't wait!

Really wish I could make it too, but just too logistically difficult for me to get to. Would definitely be interested if something similar was organised in the future though. Agenda looks fab.

HairyMaclary · 18/05/2014 08:58

I'm still working on this. When is the final day for letting you know. I was all set to come, DCs sorts etc ns then DH threw a spanner in the works. He's sorting it though but I can't commit just yet.

lougle · 18/05/2014 09:29

Hi hairy, the final deadline is 30th May but the limit is 20 places. I've already sent 21 forms requested (although if course that doesn't mean that all of those will necessarily go ahead and book) and Moondog has received 8 confirmed bookings so far. Bookings are confirmed when the form and cheque is received.

Let me know if you'd like a form Smile
