Those who came to the last one were saying how much of good time they had, so I wondered if there was interest in an Easter Hols meet up, (at Gateway Centre again.)

I think Wilts have their hols earlier than the rest of the country? So I would be around to do a meet up some time in w/c 8th April...

Food if you want....Mushroom Curry, lentil dahl, naan, salad...

No probs if no-one is up for it... just thought I would offer

Sorry, but I've got to cry off - DD has a horrible virus, cough, rash, temp, general poorly-girl-ness. Either she won't be better by Thursday, or she will, but will still be susceptible to bugs and, as we go away on Saturday, Ican't risk her catching another something. Sorry - gutted to be missing it. Please tell me about the next one!

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 26/03/2013 11:53

Oh dear, Galena. I was looking forward to meeting you. Hope your DS is better for your holiday. We'll have to have that 'Regency' meet up soon. X

Galena · 26/03/2013 11:55

Yes, I was looking forward to meeting everyone too. :( Hopefully she'll be better soon. Get organising, Ellen! Grin

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 26/03/2013 11:57

DD I typed DD, I'm sure I did. Blush

Trigglesx · 26/03/2013 12:01

Still planning on coming. First time driving in Swindon, so not sure what time I'll arrive. LOL Might bring my adult DD and DGS along, as she at least has been to Swindon before, and it gives me adult company for the drive. Grin

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 26/03/2013 12:03

And you can get her to map read!

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 26/03/2013 12:04

Sign, what time are you planning on? 11 until 2 like last time? I'll be leaving at 11ish so should be there before 12.

Galena · 26/03/2013 12:05

Glad you're still going, Trigglesx

And Ellen, I read DD, you're fine!

signandsmile · 26/03/2013 15:50

11 till 2 suits me... I will be there from about 10.30am onwards diddling about anyway

Ah bollocks.

I have just had a text from a friend reminding me and dcs to wrap up warm for our day trip on Thurs......

.....I had forgotten that my lovely friend with a ds the same age and similar issues to ds, had offered to take us for a day out at local farm on Thursday - which is very sweet of her, but I had forgotten that it was same day as snmn meetup, and it is going to be FREEZING!!!!!!

signandsmile · 26/03/2013 18:27

Hazey bring yr friend and her ds too.... Grin tell her too cold tto do farm, come for free lunch instead...

Oh poo. DD can't go and something else has cropped up as well. I'm going to have to cancel and plan on coming next time. So sorry. I'm quite frustrated but a bit out of my control.

hazeyjane · 27/03/2013 08:42

Sign, I would love to bring them, but they go to the farm every year as a family tradition, it is lovely that they want to include me, dds and ds in the tradition, so i'd feel a bit bad. Although warm curry and lovely mnsn geese, sounds a lot better than a flask of coffee and some bloke dressed as the Easter bunny running around a field!

signandsmile · 27/03/2013 08:52

No problem, for those who will miss, we will be thinking of you... it seems to be a good venue, so I am happy to.organise another in the summer hols...
