Those who came to the last one were saying how much of good time they had, so I wondered if there was interest in an Easter Hols meet up, (at Gateway Centre again.)

I think Wilts have their hols earlier than the rest of the country? So I would be around to do a meet up some time in w/c 8th April...

Food if you want....Mushroom Curry, lentil dahl, naan, salad...

No probs if no-one is up for it... just thought I would offer

PolterGoose yes, re the weighted snake.

Also, if anyone that is coming uses a Mac Major, I have a couple sewn cover pieces (strap covers, seat cover) that we used with DS2's Mac Major and would be happy to pass along to anyone that could use them. Nothing fancy, but certainly useful and clean. I'll bring them along, just in case.

Triggles, I could give you a lift if you want (Have Ford Galaxy and only me and DD going... However, I get travel sick as a passenger, so can't take you up on the offer of a lift!)?

And could I have directions too please? Thanks

Oh, and Ellen yes, we should have a regency meetup!

Trigglesx · 21/03/2013 11:07

PolterGoose no worries. I have organisational skills, but they often get sidetracked by everything else going on.

Galena I'll PM you, if that's ok. And will send you the directions that Ellen sent me.

zzzzz, so sorry to hear about your sister Thanks

I hope things are as well as they can be, thinking of you and yours

xx

Galena · 21/03/2013 12:46

Out of interest, what happens with children's food - do we bring for our own DC? DD probably won't eat curry although she might try it.

Trigglesx · 21/03/2013 12:58

oh, yes I didn't think of that. Mine won't eat curry or try it. I'll have to pack a lunch for them. lol (thanks for mentioning the food - I'd have felt pretty silly not being prepared for that!)

Galena · 21/03/2013 13:04

Grin Food is something I often think about (as you'll see when we meet!)

Trigglesx · 21/03/2013 13:13

That's pretty accurate for us here. DS2's food issues can make us crazy some days. Curry is well beyond his comfort zone (we've tried!). I looooove curry though. Grin

As I mentioned earlier, if I was "half the woman" as EllenJane is (lucky her - well done!!), I'd be thrilled. Ah, well. I suspect it's part and parcel of the whole "care for the child, the family, then be too tired to take good care of yourself" syndrome that I imagine a fair few of us fall prey to. Trying to be better about that, honest I am!!

signandsmile · 22/03/2013 07:45

This is odd, thread keeps disappearing from my screen... the gremlins don't want us to meet... never mind,

curry will be very very mild, and also naan and salad, so hope that will suit, will bring the notorious chilli chutney for those who like it hotter.. Grin ellen
