Just a reminder that some of us are meeting in Exeter in Wed 31st October 11am to 3pm.

I'm going to have to back out. DS3 has come down with a tummy bug and no doubt the other 2 and me will follow soon. I hope you all have a great time and I'll try and make the next one.

oh ellie sorry. Hope the rest of you escape. I detest tummy bugs - you feel miserable but can't rest because of all the cleaning up.

Coff we have kmummy's 3 now but not ellie's. I think the ages just about match up for the goodies bags.

kmummy I know exactly what you mean. My first reaction to the email was noooo too. It will be good to met you. Are your 3 Ds or Dd?

ps zzz I am driving down but parking at Digby and Souton station (Just off the M5 junction) Free parking and can get the little train into direct to central.

might be less stressful than centre of Exeter and parking... Hmm

We are on the train! Ds is thrilled and thinks it is awesome however being half term it is getting rather manic so he is ok on inside with a hot chocolate and the tv in the seat is grabbing his attention but they ran out of headphones on train.

Thanks to everyone who came and provided food and activities.

It was great to meet everyone again or for first time and we must definitely do it again.

Still on train and only just out of totes. Ds and I hit the town hunting headphones for the tv on the way back. He spied a Macy's ds and on top of all the biscuits he was munching he polished of a happy meal and extra chips plus shake! 19 police then raided the place which was rather exciting for ds who said they can't all be hungry at the same timeGrin

Gave a woman in a rail cafe a lesson on the ins and outs of gambling as she was playing a fruit machine Blush

Went on train to find our booked seats taken and they were not actually tv seats that I had booked.gggrrr. ds just sat there and have the ticket man a hard stare and said u do realisedim bought these (swinging headphones) to use with my invisible tv here. Man sqirmed a lot and offered ds another tv seat lol

It was great seeing u all and the children were great characters :)

Poltergoose they were similar in so many aspects including a fear of not having the last say Grin

PolterGoose he certainly took a shine to you...someone always is his resident arm puller lol! I hope his pestering didnt upset your DS to much.

Coff sorry i didnt get a chance to chat.

Got home around 9.30 as train was half hour late! Didnt need that as by then DS was fed up and it was hellish trying to keep him away from going over the yellow lines on the station! They were big, bright and he just had to tightrope walk them! and just got home in the nick of time as he was irritable within 5 mins of walking in door, grabbed his fleecy blanket and buried himself under it with the dog :) Walked upstairs still under the blanket hour later and is sound asleep. Said he had the "best day eva"

Was a breath of fresh air and nice to shut off and just yap! Kmummy we will chat again one day :)

Coff and poltergoose glad your Dss had a good time. It was interesting to see the vibes between them.

zzzzz I think your right about the looks. (My Ds wasn't there so I can say that unbiasedly).

A good side effect for me was that Dh ended up taking DS for new shoes, something he has never done in 16 years. It seemed to go alright; although he hasn't actually worn them yet......

That is great nohaudin one less stressy thing for you to do :) ds calls the shoes we bought as his "holiday shoes" Grin

he is overtired today despite sleeping in till 11.30! And has spent all day between a Simpsons game that I found up there second hand and watching the walkthroughs that it tomb raider on you tube. He even asked me toile a packed lunch box for his camp (the settee) lol so he is not planning on moving any time soon.

Zzzzz Our kids are just gorgeously handsome Grin if I could have hidden your ds in a suitcase I would have done as he is adorable and his speech was amazing!

poltergoose i am on phone but as soon as my net is working I will pm you am email address. Ds cannot read or write but we are getting there slowly and it may encourage him with a pen pal :)
