Yuck! Maybe if it was my first. But I can just imagine DH finding it under a box in a week or two and then realising we were supposed to have done something with it.

Nothing controversial.

StarlightMaJesty · 12/06/2012 20:08

Just wanna stay in the pool to deliver it ( if warm and clean enough) and not cut cord until after placenta delivered.

Policy is to cut cord, get you out and deliver on land to monitor blood loss.

As DS3 was born at home with nobody medical around, I didn't deliver the placenta until the midwife arrived, 45 mins later. It was the first time I got a proper look at one. Not very appetising. Grin

This thread has got me thinking now. I went to the hospital last week and scan found a growth on my womb and they couldnt identify what it, i have to go back next week!!

StarlightMaJesty · 12/06/2012 20:35

What made them do a scan claw?

claw4 · 12/06/2012 20:47

My periods had been irregular and more heavy than usual. I went to my GP who referred me to gynae.

She found something in my womb, she said it was 'tiny' and told me to come back on the 5th day of my cycle, as the lining of your womb is at its most thinnest then and she would be able to get a clearer picture of what it was.

So im just waiting for my period to start, then i phone and make an appointment for 4 days time.

Hopefully just a cyst, claw. ((((hugs))))

claw4 · 12/06/2012 20:53

ZZZZ just whatever it was, it was tiny and she would get a clearer picture on day 5 of my cycle to go back then and she would do another scan and decide on what to do.

Ellen, that is what i thought, now this thread has got me thinking!

I hope its just a cyst!

ZZZ she didnt speculate as to what it was. Im just hoping i havent caught Star's condition!

It must be all the LA paperwork ive been doing today, its gone to my head and its making me paranoid Smile

Shellywelly1973 · 12/06/2012 21:04

Lil claw....

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 12/06/2012 21:06

There's always clearblue...

claw4 · 12/06/2012 21:20

Seriously i doubt its a lil Claw. My period is due tomorrow, so no clearblue for a few days.

I really think a cyst is much more likely. Not sure how that will work if my period doesnt come tomorrow, that will make day 5 a Sunday.

Anyhow enough talk about my baby cyst.

HAS STAR HAD THAT BABY YET!

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 12/06/2012 21:22

Yeah, no news from Star for nearly 50 minutes...
