Friday Night Chat... can I start it?

Hi all.

I'm going out again tonight, so am getting in early Smile. Me and DH are going to a fundraised for DS's school which should be a good night out for us both. It's a social one.

It's been a good week here. DS's school is moving in with another 2 schools and a nursery to a new purpose built school in a park on Mon. He's been a bit unsettled, but coping very well considering. We've had some ups and downs with DD's school project, but seem to be getting there now. I've got on with a bit more of my MSc and DH has worked out some stuff that we can claim back on tax.

Bad week here. Counting down the days until I stop working for the vilest boss I have ever had.

Just waiting for DS to get home to tell me how he managed in his exams today.

Then I have the joy of a few motre hours doing DLA renewal.

Can someone hide the razor blades please.

Mad busy week here, i am doing transitions for my LO's at work. And IEP reviews and all my normal day to day stuff.

Dd3 has been invited to an all ability sports day by the senco at school. I am really happy because she hates sports day but will hopefully cope with this one.

Loads of choir rehearsals at the moment so busy weekends too.

Oh and the kayaking went really well last week too.

Mixed week here! Child I support had his SATs and did surprisingly well in his maths. My ex dickhead has actually made a reasonable financial settlement offer. But he wants the DS's for 4 nights a fortnight, I think mainly to reduce his maintenance payments and DS3 has been in tears about it.

Out tonight with DS3 for a concert, he's playing 'The Bare Necessities' on his recorder to help out the flutes, who are a bit quiet. His hands have finally grown enough so that he can learn the flute next year.

2nd SA request sent.

Ds is scratching his skin very badly again.

HT phoned to ask me to go to a meeting, but is refusing to tell me the purpose.

Other ds is sitting his exams too, so have to be everything to everyone at the moment.

WetAugust sending Wine it might help you fill the form in. We have a very nice SW who has promised to send an expert to help us when our renewal comes up later this year.

Ineed how do to manage it all?

Poisoning would be too good for my boss. I dream during meetings of the ways he could meet a slow horrible death.

Evening ladies,

Had one of those weeks where I'm sure people seem to think you've got 39 pairs of hands, and where everything needs to be done NOW or it's not good enough!

We had yet another phone call from DD's school today to explain that a strategy needs to be implemented regarding her Gastro feeding (which she is determined to make very difficult at the moment) I'd love to go one week without having to sit at the end of the receiver listening to DD's teacher giving parenting tips!

My back is really playing up so minimum typing tonight but hi all. Wet if all the people who think getting DLA is a breeze had to fill in theforms I think there would be a lot of minds changed pronto. I think I have identified a place for DS to do A levels. It is residential so I am girding up my loins to do battle with the LA. Also still jumping through hoops re Maudsley admission.

I am really tired this week. Can't remember much apart from 3 meetings which went ok (1st time in 11 year, and awaiting the downfall). As well as a phone call from the chief executive of my local NHS RE my complaint, which also seemed to go well. An email from a charity acknowledging our application and a prescription for our melotonin back without the need of a pead, which we haven't had for about 2 month!!

DS is refusing all respite atm so have him here when he's usually at his carers till 8.30pm!!

claw have a nice quiet night!

Very mixed week here tbh...dc seem ok..ds1 is doing well at school and ds2 seems to be settling at pre school. Had my back proceedure yesterday. Not pleasant Sad Even if it works I wont be having another!

Feel very sorry for myself today. Ds1 has some home with loads of stuff that needs doign by 31st for school/jubille/olympic activities and it coincides with the day we go to France...sigh.

Not allowed to iron, hoover to any of the other things that desperately need doing Sad

Dh and I are having a dvd night as I cant go out really as I cant shower and take my dressing off til tomorrow

Still awaiting appt for meeting with school re: ds1's sts report...Hmm

Off out tonight with some girlfriends. DS4 called me Mummy for the first time in his 5 years! That was a moment!
DH on his way back from Moscow, he's been there all week but stopped at Frankfurt to buy me some Chanel and some Gin Grin not sure which to open first?!!
Saw cupoftea and baby Bea for a coffee this week. They are both so lovely. Nice to make new friends.
Have had the twins off sick ALL week. Sigh. Got DD's ear reconstruction surgery date through at GOS, so that's August wiped out! 6 hours of surgery minimum! Yikes!!
Sorry that your boss is a vindictive toad, Wet. A severe bout of food poisoning would be my recommendation! Grin

Class A's.....................I will lose a bit of weight as most are anti suppressants.
