Friday Night Chat... can I start it?

Hi all.

I'm going out again tonight, so am getting in early . Me and DH are going to a fundraised for DS's school which should be a good night out for us both. It's a social one.

It's been a good week here. DS's school is moving in with another 2 schools and a nursery to a new purpose built school in a park on Mon. He's been a bit unsettled, but coping very well considering. We've had some ups and downs with DD's school project, but seem to be getting there now. I've got on with a bit more of my MSc and DH has worked out some stuff that we can claim back on tax.

Wet, i actually sent pictures into school of ds's scratches that he has quite severely all over his body, caused by anxiety of them not meeting his needs.

That was about 2 weeks ago, not once have they phoned me about this or even mentioned it to me or even an is he ok kind of thing. So if this meeting is about anything other, i will be quite pissed off.

That's really poor Claw. I expect that's what they want to discuss. You'll probably find they want a witness there to back up their lies. I'd take one too if I was meeting them.

LOL Wet, im actually laughing out loud! I spent hours summarising my SA request, when that would have done nicely!

You know what Wet, i very much doubt it. Usually when i bring something to their 'attention', they have to come back and blame me for something.

If its not about the scratching, i will def be saying, but no, but yea, but yea!

Aww ds has just written me a poem, bless "Ive loved you always, never stopped loving you, youre the best" then gives me a list of reasons, im a "good hugger" and wear "lovely dresses" and lots and lots of other reasons. I even have a 'halo' in the picture of me

He has just turned my bad week, into a good one.

Pressing on ready for final uni deadlines next Friday. Film is done basically, and showreel will be done over the weekend.

Off to the gym then seeing DBF tomorrow. Spent yesterday afternoon with him, some other friends and one friend's gorgeous 9mo DS. He's reached the grabbing glasses stage though so have to be careful holding him lol! He also likes mobile phones. And keys. But not baby toys, oh no, they must absolutely never be played with!

DBF also came to uni to meet me for lunch today, and had a look at my film :)

Things are kind of good and bad here...DS at the moment is the least of my worries. DD has not been well and she has started the final few weeks of GCSEs. On the plus side I'm helping her revise and I'm learning loads........
