Just about to go and eat but thought I'd start us off.

Not a good few days - DBoyfriend was rushed into hospital last night with a severe kidney infection. I know he's in the best place but I usually chat to him at night on Facebook, so I'm lonely, first night we've not done so in 6 months :(

Uni got VERY stressful, but has calmed down now.

And I got cuddles from friend's 8mo DS, and got to take him to softplay. Was good fun - although tricky for us to climb in with him. I remember it being so much easier. He has an obsession with my glasses now. Oh, and trying to eat my acrylic nails...

Hope everyone is OK :)

Ineed thanks for the chocolate. I'm not doing too well on the healthy eating plan this week!

creatovator · 04/05/2012 19:31

Sign what's your PGCE in again?

Triggles · 04/05/2012 19:35

yeah, what is that all about, nicking the lead? In the roof?? What would make someone even think of that?? Confused

signandsmile · 04/05/2012 19:36

Its for adults, (so we are mostly teachers in FE or HE), part time (2 yrs) so we have all been working in ed for years.... (PS I love the course... it's kinda like, oh my goodness... I still have a brain! Shock Grin Wink

signandsmile · 04/05/2012 19:37

triggles, I know.... the roof could have come down on the kids heads, Angry Shock

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 04/05/2012 19:41

I have gin for those that need it and those who'd just like a glass or two Smile

lollipop, hope your db is feeling better soon Smile

galena, never too early to start looking! Funny how things change once you start looking, hope you get physio issues sorted soon.

sign, haven't seen you for ages, good to hear things are going well Smile

bigblue, audiology here sound the same, I'm forever chasing them, if I can get through to an actual person that is!

up and down week for us, dd3 has had a couple of nasty falls and has cut the side of her face quite badly as well as a big bump on the head and a few minor bumps. We're hoping this is just a wobbly patch that won't last, at least her school has a couple of onsite nurses! Despite saying no every time we mentioned it she went to a rda session with school and had a fab time, she's quite excited about going again next week now.

creatovator · 04/05/2012 19:42

Triggles some folk just don't think of the consequences. Seemingly you can get quite a lot for lead. When I was a teenager (it doesn't seem that long ago!) loads of buildings in the area had the lead knicked from the roof Sad.

Sign Yeah. I love my course too, though my brain hurts at times from all the concentration lol.

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 04/05/2012 19:43

someone nicked the lead of the dcs old primary school, it was the people who lived opposite with a dc at the school Hmm

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 04/05/2012 19:43

Hello everyone. Fairly quiet week here. Polling on Thurs meant DS3's school was shut, but a nice friend had him. I'm hoping to get the grass cut this weekend, it's been so wet that it's almost up to the windows.

Dickhead wants a copy of DS2's statement to prove his needs aren't that great so he won't have to support him past 18! Hmm

Too far down the thread to remember it all.

Lollipop, hope your DBF is better soon.

Insanity, it was fine, it was fine, it was fine! Grin

I've been chatting to Galena on MN this week, Galena, get the lowdown on school C from our friend

Triggles, sorry your week has been crap. Virtual Wine fumes coming your way.

Lead thieves always remind me of 'Only Fools and Horses.'

creatovator · 04/05/2012 19:44

x posted again Blush.

Ninja Hope your dd3 heals up soon.

UnChartered · 04/05/2012 19:47
Confused

i'm already lost, but DD is upstairs - lawks knows how long she'll stay up there for, i've often joked about nailing planks of wood to her door frame ala bugs bunny but that would be cruel

we've got a taster riding lesson on Sunday for DD, there's a free event at Mouton College if anyone is interested Smile

alison222 · 04/05/2012 19:48

Well I think I will have to go for the Wine as there is a bottle in the kitchen looking at me. It was free with my Ocado delivery as apparently it is an anniversary of the first time I ever ordered with them. Not complaining Grin.
I am shattered as I babysat last night so didn't get to bed until 1 and I really need my sleep. T'will be an early night for me tonight. Dd has been off school today with temp, headache and tummy-ache. Am worried as to what that might turn into as we are supposed to be visitng DM and DB tomorrow and we haven't seen DB for aaages. I'm hoping a good nights sleep tonight will cure whatever it is and that the Wine will kill off any germs that I may have inhaled today.

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 04/05/2012 19:50

Ninja, why is she falling at the moment, any reason? Glad she enjoyed RDA. DS2 used to love it when he was small.

Hi Create. I can't keep up either...

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 04/05/2012 19:51

UnChartered, it's an art, answering the question 10 before last. Grin

creatovator · 04/05/2012 19:52

Hi Ellen. What's RDA?

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 04/05/2012 19:55

not sure ellen, she's got low tone and is hypermobile but has been extra wobbly, could be a growth spurt, could be boots aren't supportive enough, could be it's getting worse, just have to give her some time to see which! Wow that's nice, looking for ways out of supporting your child Hmm

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 04/05/2012 19:57

RDA is Riding for the Disabled Association. Rather old fashioned terminology, but still a fab charity.

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 04/05/2012 19:59

A bit worrying, Ninja. Hopefully just a phase. Smile

creatovator · 04/05/2012 19:59

Ah yes. I've heard of it. It's meant to be good.

signandsmile · 04/05/2012 19:59

ninja Sad at DD falls... create what are you studying? I get the feeling i have asked u this before... sign is Hmm at the emptiness of own head

signandsmile · 04/05/2012 20:00

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 04/05/2012 20:01

Yes, DS2 used to be taken by his SS when he was 3 or 4. He hasn't been since, but it was full of horsey posh ladies who took no nonsense! Grin

coff33pot · 04/05/2012 20:01

Mad week as you know here but will give it a miss on this friday night booze up Grin

I got Harry coming over tomorrow for a whole day with DS so planning some fun stuff to do!

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 04/05/2012 20:02

Oops, that's RDA.

Sign, I'm half divorced now, decree nisi? Not sure if I can officially call him ex yet. Dickhead suits him, though. Grin

creatovator · 04/05/2012 20:04

Sign I'm doing an MSc in Autism. It's been really, really interesting as well as helpful given ds is on the spectrum.

We're off to the park to tire the DCs out now lol.

Will look in later.
