Ah, Starlight that is so sweet. Mine are all here - older two reading old copies of Beano and youngest creating mayhem in her own special way.
Am supposed to be making pizzas for them all, but have snuck on here instead!
Indigo - sorry you've had a bad week.
Lisad, I wouldn't worry about breaking down in front of them - I think they need to see it occasionally to remind them how much pressure we're under and that its love for our children that's the driving force behind us being pains in their rear ends. So sorry dd is being bullied, hope the school jumps on it immediately. Really hope the Autistic Advisory Teacher turns out to be a good 'un.
Ellen, glad things are settling down a bit for you and the boys and you're all coping with your new situation. Good to hear ds2 is happy and he has his brother looking out for him.
Silverfrog, hope you manage to get some R&R this weekend in spite of your charity race.
Its seems to have been a really hectic, full on week here.
Ds1 seems to be settling in a bit better and some of the teachers have been fantastic, going out of their way to keep a dialogue going between us and feed back anything important to me. With one notable exception, but I intend to deal with that at the start of next week.
He started cricket club this week as well and really enjoyed it. His best friend has been going for years and this is the first time he's wanted to give it a go. Best thing is, parents are allowed to go and watch - although I didn't know that until I turned up to fetch him - so I can go and see him in action and make sure everything's ok.
Had a bit of a yukky middle of the week, due to money worries and had to go and see the bank manager with dh, which was a bit scary. Fortunately they were fantastic and its all been sorted out, so dh and I can breathe and maybe even sleep at night (dcs allowing of course).
Am continuing to do the 30 day shred and have lost a total of 15.8" across my whole body since I started!
Am also feeling a lot fitter, stronger and healthier, which is really helping me cope with the onslaught of medical appointments and school stuff etc.
Overall, I think its been a good week, but I'm definitely in need of a decent weekend's worth of rest.
Off to Aldi for the first time ever tomorrow in an attempt to reduce our ridiculously large food bills.
