Oh that's great news! My boy is 20 months old and I am hoping for his claim to be accepted. With him being so young I have no faith but seeing this gives me hope! Please may I ask what sort of things you sent to them? I literally only had printed emails from the health visitor stating an EHA is now in place 😫

sam1345 · 29/10/2026 21:45

I sent proof we on waiting list for autism and deveolpmetal delay
Feeding challenges
Also sent in developmetal chart to say how far she is behind on things as she been assessing her
Letter off peaditrican
speech and language
Hv
Also dietican
Hope this helps
I honeslty didn't except her to get a award even with all the proof with only being 22
Months old got a shock when got told she had HRC hope this helps

That is great! I do worry with my case as im still waiting for further appointments but my son has severe autistic traits and is a hazard to himself and others! I just hope my detailed explanation and proof the EHA has been accepted it enough. My form scan date is exactly a month after yours.

Hopefullyitcan · 30/10/2026 08:30

Scan date 24/7. Today's hits 14 weeks! I know it can be 25 so it's well within range but it's still a gruelling wait. Was told on Monday it's with a case manager but I've heard nothing since. Darent ring again so just waiting for the decline letter now. Feels so cruel after 14 weeks.

123evi · 30/10/2026 09:12

Scan date 12/08 no news as well , and I also see people get decision

ShinyBeans · 30/10/2026 09:52

SD 14/08. I just called. I got through straight away so it may be a good time to call!

The lady I spoke to said it's with a decision maker now, so the decision should be made soon. I asked if I could get a text notification and she said she would put a note on the file. Hopefully hear something soon!

Md234 · 30/10/2026 09:55

@Hopefullyitcan if it would put your mind at ease you can ring again lovely as it can take a while for the letter to get to you! Just say you was wondering if a decision was made!
@PurplePenguin22 my little boy is 2 and he’s recently just been awarded high rate care he’s suspected autism been referred to paediatrics currently non verbal has a speech delay! I sent over reports from health visitors paperwork showing how he’s regressed in his milestones over the space of a year and then just the referral forms! Good luck xx

Hi, I haven't called up yet as I didn't want the disappointment of a decline to ruin the weekend. I'm guessing because there is no pending payment it's probably declined. I should probably call but I can't bring myself to. Well done on getting the support for your little one!

I wouldn't worry yet. The decision can take a few days to be made, and then the payment takes 3-5 working days to come through so no pending payment doesn't mean you've been declined. I would call first thing on Monday x

Midlifemumma2026 · 30/10/2026 14:34

Called for update and said claim has been processed what does that mean? Then when I asked said it’s been processed but in line for case manager - was told last week ess waiting on decision maker! I’m so confused! 🫤
