That's a great letter. (check spelling of intergrated- thought it was integrated?)

E-mail itbut back up with a paper copy as soon as post starts up again, its good for them to have a file copy and it keeps your child at the forefront of their minds.

A meet up would be good- we're just over the Severn bridge so maybe Taunton? (Mum's in bridgwater and FIL in Merriott so would work quite well for me) if that's OK?

Not too bad at all then (and if Dh ever gets his way we'll be closer- he would love to go back to Ilminster way)

Dont fret the spelling- you've seen my tyouing lol

I think that sounds great esbee. Think it's a fab idea to use his statement in the letter - really makes you think when it's set out like that.

I only hope they can find a place for him at R. GOod luck.

foxinsocks · 28/06/2007 19:16

sorry, I meant R as in the RL part of O!

mummytosteven · 28/06/2007 20:26

Esbee asked Dh about coming down to taunton and he said fine, we can do a few visits at the same time.

Will be nice to meet you- and I have never met a HFA child besides DS1 nbefore which will be interesting! (One of the issues of MS schooling- parnetal isolation from others in the same situation)

That sounds hopeful Essbee.

Can you feed him a literary diet of Harry Potter etc to make the boarding idea seem attractive? or is he not a Harry Potter fan?

racking brain now to think of boarding school stories featuring aspergers children. but drawing a blank.
