@Blondeshavemorefunthink I think I’d rather have the proper dressing but less of it. The substitutes just aren’t the same.

I often don’t wake up hungry and sometimes I’ll have the equivalent of breakfast as an evening snack. I seem to want to eat later, plus it helps with not bingeing on rubbish after dinner.,

I tend to have breakfast around 9.30 or 10 (I'm a SAHM) but will often make it Into more of a brunch instead.

Here's yesterday...

B...toast with jam (1.5) and banana

L.... mushroom omlette. 2 tangerines. Melon

D....out for afternoon and evening with in-laws so dinner was lasagne they made.

Treats....half a cream tea (shared with DH) followed by a 2 hour walk up the hills so hopefully not too bad!

JingleAndTonic · 14/04/2022 14:32

I don't have breakfast through the week, would rather have the extra time in bed before work Grin so I have something mid-afternoon and that's my three meals for the day. suppose it's like intermittent fasting as will start eating at 1pm and be finished by 8pm latest.

L - broth and toast (HEB) wih butter (2)

T - spag bol with cheese (HEA) and some garlic bread (5)

S - grapes, cheese (HEA) and a skinny bar (4.5)

Evening snack - yogurt and pineapple

Milk for teas and coffees. (A2)

A whopping 24 syns but I can pull it back for the rest of the week.

@blimeyherewegoagain, re you bread for lunch, can you explain the syns you add for bread when not an official heB? I sometimes buy a seeded loaf and use that without sending it. Is there a workaround or tweak for this? Thanks!
Plantsandpuddlesuits · 16/04/2022 15:40

Also interested in the bread thing @Blimeyherewegoagain

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/04/2022 16:57

It’s the fibre that makes the b but as long as 60g I tend to count as a b regardless

OP posts:
Blimeyherewegoagain · 16/04/2022 17:06

@Wilma55 HEB is around 6 or 7 Syns and each syn is about 20 calories so the bread should come in under 140 cals.
I work out the calorie difference and then syn it at 20 cals per syn. It is only approximate but I’ve found that if I start saying to myself “ oh that’ll do, it’s only a bit over,” and not counting it, I start doing it with other food and it’s the slippery slope after that.
