boats16 · 30/03/2018 08:27

I have STS this week so I am really pleased with that . I have ate allsorts this week so I am really pleased. Grin I was sure I was in for a gain this week , but then you get upset because youve just ruined all your hard work and effort ( you cant win !!!! )

Groovee · 30/03/2018 08:51

I binged last night. I couldn't stop eating to the point I felt sick.

What kind of egg Flutterby I was wondering if I could have one and if so how much of it could I eat ? A small one maybe. Those £1.99 ones ? Anyone know ?

Testarossa1 · 30/03/2018 13:10

Welcome newbies. And good luck to those weighing today and over the weekend. I'm visiting my parents today until Sunday evening. My dad is an amazing cook, I've actually packed a sort of food bag to take with me to try and limit the damage. Not sure if they makes me sad or paranoid lol!GrinShock

boats, I'm having one of these. 17.5 syns, I'm planning to have half on Sunday and save the other half for another day.

I have one of the I think small Cadbury ones I haven’t checked syns yet but hoping I could have half of the actual egg for daily sun mighty be wishful thinking though Grin

boats16 · 30/03/2018 14:33

I might get some mini malteser bunnies. They sell them in bags of five. I have one sometimes ( 3 syns each I think ) when I fancy a treat.

FrozenMargarita17 · 30/03/2018 15:08

I usually get the caramel eggs (Creme egg size) that are 9.5 syns

FrozenMargarita17 · 30/03/2018 15:08

I just tried the slimming world version of ryvita. They were AWFUL. Honestly so horrid.

BasinHaircut · 30/03/2018 16:00

DH has got me a galaxy ripple egg. I’m considering eating the LOT on Monday and then just getting back in it on Tuesday.

I’m supposed to have my first weigh in on Monday but she is closed due to the bank holiday. She is doing Tuesday instead but I might just leave it 2 weeks for my first weigh in so I don’t have to completely go without this Easter or feel guilty every time I put something in my mouth this weekend.

Maybe not the best attitude, especially as it’s my first week back on it, but I can’t help but think that letting myself have just a teeny amount of chocolate and feeling miserable about it will do more damage in the long run. It will just sit in the fridge tempting me for weeks otherwise.

FrozenMargarita17 · 30/03/2018 16:10

What about sharing it out in to portions within your syn limits? @BasinHaircut makes it last longer too!

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/03/2018 16:41

Limiting damage @testa

I lost a lb. not sure how as are so much crap on dd bday. Let alone the two bottles of bubbly I drunk

Prob gain next week

BasinHaircut · 30/03/2018 16:50

A syn allowances-worth of chocolate would just make me think about the rest of it still being there.

After Easter I could probably go until Christmas without touching chocolate again as it’s not something I crave per se. I can’t remember the last time I ate chocolate. It’s not generally my weakness, although I do like some specific types of chocolate (Galaxy is my favourite) So although it’s not within the spirit of SW, I’m just going to eat the lot in one go and enjoy it as it’s a one off/one day thing.

Christmas is a bit different as there is chocolate everywhere for weeks and it’s easy to eat a bit here and there without realising it and it being on everyone’s coffee table/in the office etc makes it a temptation.

On a normal day it’s thick slabs of fresh bread with proper butter that are my achellies heel! Grin

I should have waited till after Easter really to start so that I could do it ‘properly’ but I didn’t want to lose the whole week IYSWIM.

boats16 · 30/03/2018 17:13

Well done Blondes . All this talk of chocolate is really no good for us lol👿

Flutterby81 · 30/03/2018 19:15

Well done on your loss @blondes.
Had a hot cross bun today but all synned in. @basin I would do what was suggested above and have some each day makes it last longer plus you don’t ruin all the effort you have put in this week Smile

BasinHaircut · 30/03/2018 19:53

I know flutter but I won’t Blush

I’m just not going to mention it here again! Grin I’m planning it and staying in control, rather than use all my syns and then binge.

I have been positively angelic today, even though there were hot cross buns being eaten everywhere I went.

Tomorrow I’ve got people round in the evening and I’m doing pulled pork and wedges and salad so I can stay on plan. Won’t tell anyone it’s SW-friendly food and see what they think. I just won’t have a bun with my meat.

Mum is cooking on Sunday and she is doing SW so I’ll have an on plan roast. I’m making a very non SW friendly pudding but I’ll have a small slice and stay within syns.

Flutterby81 · 30/03/2018 20:51

Sounds like a good plan @basin o couldn’t resist a hot cross bun today all within syns though. Hope you have a lovely Easter Smile

MumInTheCity · 30/03/2018 21:06

Well done losers. I had a good day today, took DD out for breakfast to celebrate the start of the holidays but stayed on plan.

B - omelette and beans
L - nothing, was still full from breakfast!
D - leftover Diet Coke chicken with noodles and veg
S - 2 hifi bars (HEB) and a Cadbury break bar (6.5 syns)

calzone · 30/03/2018 21:23

I have pulled myself together and I am in the zone.

I’ve lost the grand total of 3lb since September which is dreadful though I have kept 2 stone off from my original weigh in.

So day 2 and I’m on plan.

B.....heck sausages 3
Tomatoes
Eggs

L....banana

D....chickpea chipotle stew
Couscous
Broccoli

40g cheerios
Tinned fruit 3
Yoghurt

Curly wurly 6

Syns 12
HEB Cheerios
Hea milk

FrozenMargarita17 · 30/03/2018 21:28

I made pizza fries for dinner tonight! They were SO GOOD. The sauce is all homemade from scratch and has lots of good stuff in, and it then served with hexA of cheese (and a tiny bit more but since I'm not using syns today it's fine!) then put toppings on top and bake for a little bit more. Served with salad was SO delicious.

The recipe was a slimming eats one :)

FrozenMargarita17 · 30/03/2018 21:28

Picture included hopefully..

FrozenMargarita17 · 30/03/2018 21:29

Nope can't get it to post! Haha

Testarossa1 · 30/03/2018 21:42

So today I've had,

B - branflakes, yoghurt, sweet freedom fruit syrup
L - cheese, onion, ham omelette, salad
D - steak and salad, yoghurt.
Snacks - satsuma and a hifi bar.

My dad did a sw friendly meal for tea especially for me. Was a lovely steak too!

Cherrypi · 30/03/2018 23:02

B: peanut butter and choc shot baked oats
L: chickpea and lentil Dahl with peppers and rice
D: chicken in oyster sauce and more rice
S: prosecco, plums, Oreo thins
