Hopefully my dad will get home tomorrow. Food wise has been fine.

Aiming to get that half pound off next week.

Glad to hear about your dad Groovee ,Im sure you will manage your 1/2 pound next week Smile . Will miss my weigh in this FRI unless I wait till Sat to do it. Im sleeping over at my friends thurs night and we're having a girls night so maybe Sat wont be the best time to weigh. I will try to be as good as I can .It isnt always possible when youre staying at someone elses house. Wine

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/03/2018 22:30

Cherrypi · 15/03/2018 06:51

Ooh that hot cross bun baked oats looks good. I made the pinch of nom creamy smoked salmon last night and that was delicious. Husband said it was as nice as our usual double cream version. It was fairly quick and simple too.

Oldowl · 15/03/2018 06:59

Glad your Dad is doing well Groovee.

I put half on this week. I am going to stop picking at things - the odd bread stick, a celebration chocolate etc.

It is a slippery slope!

PinkUnicorn1990 · 15/03/2018 07:45

Hi all can I join? Smile Just joined online so first SW day today! Got 6 stone to lose but just taking it a stone at a time I think. This is my day today:
B- weetabix minis and milk (hea and heb)
L- leftover pasta and turkey meatballs with pepper, spinach and tomato passata sauce
T- fajita spiced chicken with rice and veg and cheese (5syns)
Will prob have a few more syns with snacks but not sure on them yet, maybe a yogurt or a couple of biscuits. (I'm not a massive fan of fruit but will have to try!)
Fingers crossed this works, it seems easy to stick to so far. Have done WW, calorie counting etc in the past and I get bored after a while so hoping this is easier for me and my family as a working mum! Blush

boats16 · 15/03/2018 08:02

2lb off for me today Star . Decided to weigh myself a day early instead of a day late so I can chill at my friends.Wine
Welcome PinkUnicorn Im sure youll do well. Everyone here is very friendly Smile . Never mind Oldowl, youll probably take it off again next week
Im sorry Blondes, that was a lot of syns Shock

walkingwoods · 15/03/2018 08:56

Hi can I join too please ? I’ve just joined online and downloaded the app but can’t figure out how to enter a food diary on there. Can anyone help please?

Flutterby81 · 15/03/2018 09:13

Welcome @pinkunicorn and @walkingwoods. Good luck with your journey Smile
Well done on your loss @boats hope you enjoy your evening.

Testarossa1 · 15/03/2018 09:32

Back at work today and doing 7-7. So arrived at work with a whole lot of Tupperware as having all 3 meals at work!

B - over night weetabix with berries (heb)
L- chicken and veg soup with crackerbread and light dairylea
D - homemade sw curry and rice.

Also have a yogurt, sugar free jelly, satsuma, pineapple, mango and 2 mini crustless quiche, to snack on and get me through!

All free apart from 1syn for honey on breakfast, dairylea 1, crackers 1 each and jelly 1/2. So a good day planned. Easier back at work as sort out stuff to bring, rather than being at home wondering what I can eat!!!!

Paris1980 · 15/03/2018 12:04

Hi everyone
May I also join?
I joined SW last Wednesday so last night was my weigh in after doing the plan for a week... I was quite disappointed. Only lost 1/2lb. I had a hen weekend so sat/sun were sort of write offs. But I did stick to plan for the other 5 days. I also think I need to rectify the 1/3 plate of SF, I dont think was doing that correctly. eg spag bol nothing else on plate... so i think I need to remove 1/3 spag bol and replace with SF. Anyway I have the wedding of the hen on Monday... there's always something

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2018 12:29

@pink and @walking welcome

@boats. Yah. Well done

@old. Sure will come off next week

Agree about picking. I'm better off not having one as can't stop

@testa. Good menu tho don't work supply food?

What's the recipe for crustless quiche. Is that the one you use a pasta mix

B fruit and ml yog
L chilli and rice and veg
T jacket Tuna cheese a salad

Leaving me with a b

Maybe just have a slice of toast and marmite

Don’t think I will lose TOM due to mother’s day badness

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2018 12:30

Welcome @paris and it was still a loss esp if had a bad weekend

boats16 · 15/03/2018 12:54

Welcome walkingwoods and Paris
Thanks Flutterby

gethintheway · 15/03/2018 13:46

Hey all, i'm new here :)

I joined SW in January and lost 2 stone so far. I do find myself struggling though and wondered how you keep yourself motivated?

Testarossa1 · 15/03/2018 14:12

blondes work more than happy for me to help myself, but it's all full fat stuff, nothing slimming world friendly, apart from fruit and veg, can't really expect them to buy stuff for me alone when I only work 3 days a week!. So just find it easier to bring stuff from home. Though using rice from work to go with curry, and some more veg with it.

Paris1980 · 15/03/2018 14:12

Wow thats impressive! Can I ask you what your top tips have been? How do you navigate the week when there is 'something' on at the weekend... its three weeks of something here: Hen/Mothers Day, St Paddys Day (I'm Irish!)/Wedding and then a break... then Easter !!

Paris1980 · 15/03/2018 14:14

sorry that was @getintheway :) on your 2 stone loss. Amazing.

Testarossa1 · 15/03/2018 14:18

blondes Recipe for crustless quiche. I don't bother spreading puree on dish, just makes it messy. Also can chuck in any veg you like. It's makes about 12 mini ones

Weigh in tonight. I hope I've not put too much on. I've barely eaten today haha

gethintheway · 15/03/2018 16:16

Thank you @paris1980 :) it's going to be a big challenge with those events coming up i'm sure. The Hi-fi bars are a great help to ease those cravings and also some of the muller yoghurts. The big thing for me was cutting down full fat coke, switched to diet coke at the mo which certainly is making a difference and then eventually hope to get rid of it fully. Sad to say I am a coke addict lol which is what got me too big in the first place I reckon.

boats16 · 15/03/2018 17:27

Welcome getintheway
Good luck for tonight FrozenMargarita

FrozenMargarita17 · 15/03/2018 17:51

I can scarcely believe it but I lost 5lbs! I got my stone award! My reaction was 'but I ate pancakes!!'

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2018 18:30

Well done @frozen

Flutterby81 · 15/03/2018 18:32

Wow that’s fantastic @Frozenmargarita well done 😀
