I only joined the other day but could do with some help getting back on track please.
I was losing every week even after going on holiday, then have been messing about for the last 8 week some losses and a couple of small gains. But even my losses haven't been huge.
I've got 12 1/2 lb to go to target. I get weighed on Wednesdays and after this Wednesday I have 7 weeks left till the end of my count down and would really like to get to target by then.
So I'm Guna check in everyday to keep myself on track if that's ok?

Hey guys. I'm new to Mumsnet but been doing SW since Jan 2017 & only lost 3st 5.5. Lately the losses have really slowed down and need some inspiration!Smile

@CatP22 I have lost 3st 8lb since January. I did well up to July then I had surgery and things have slowed down.

Am thinking of going back to basics and taking it from there. Speed foods I have increased and changing my HE's too. I have upped my water too. Not expecting much off tomorrow as I have been at a wedding x

i've been on plan all week but was out for a family meal yesterday and ate a lot of bread and had a lot of wine! WI tomorrow night so still feeling hopeful i can pull it back

Just had poached eggs and toast for breakfast - SW is definitely easier this time round as a SAHM as i have time to make myself better food to eat

I had my anniversary on Friday and ate a big Thai lunch and lots of choc in the evening, so hoping I can pull it back by Thurs. I desperately want my 3.5stone award and only 1.5lbs to go but seems like I take 1 step forward, 2 steps back! It's been since I won my groups Women of the Year! Seems it was bad luck to me Hmm

Welcome newbie and returnees!

Asked about speed food ideas for breakfast at group. Suggestions included spinach & mushroom omelette with grilled or canned plum tomatoes and strawberries or raspberries on cereal. I'm going to have a look through my recipe books too.

Put on 2lb today but it's my own fault. My routine went to pot last week. DS2 away and DH has finished his current contract so he's about more. I was nibbling at chocolate and not really planning well.

DS2 has been in touch & seems fine, so this week I'm committing to no chocolate. If I've written it here, I have to do it!

DH means dear husband and DS2 means 2nd son. Don't worry there are abbreviations I still haven't sussed. For ages I thought NSV meant new size varient when it actually means non scales victory eg when you fit into the next size of clothes down or wear something you haven't fitted into for ages.

I found my weight slowed the nearer I got to target. Was very disheartening at times. Stick with it though, you’ll get there.

Making a strange concoction for dinner - it's shaped like a shepherd's pie but the mince is spag bol flavoured and there's sweet potato mash and low-fat mozarella on top. With salad of course.

Going to a work event tomorrow evening so I'll be happy to have leftovers ready for when I get back. Not sure if there will be drinks there, but if there's food it'll be pizza so I will have to take snacks to have beforehand and NOT have the pizza.

I'm always on lookout for lunch ideas to take to work normally end up taking a ham wrap or sometimes a chicken pasta salad.

Weigh-in tonight: 4.5lb off! I'm so chuffed. I was expecting a small loss as I had dinner with some friends on Friday night and it was a bit... er... boisterous Wink so I'm surprised but happy. 1st 2.5 in total, seven weeks in. I keep thinking that if I can lose at least a pound a week I'll be another stone down by Christmas, which would be brilliant. (Got a lonnnng way to go though!)

Well my weigh in Wednesday morning not feeling very optimistic things seem to be slowing now I'm close to target. Don't know if it will be my final target I'd like another 8lb below we're my target is. My target is 9stone at the minute
