Bloo I reward myself when I lose by eatingBlushGrin it's not really the idea is it!!

Hi basinSmile I have a rubbish relationship with food I'm all or nothing I wish I could just be a normal person but I don't think I will ever be a one chocolate and put the box back kind of person. You are right though we are definitely harder on our own bodies.

buttwingsham · 13/09/2017 18:15

I always feel like butt casserole when it's starts getting cold! It's blooming freezing today.

BlooBagoo · 13/09/2017 18:37

buttwing - exactly what I do too. I've been naughty today again with a pesto and goats cheese focaccia and a packet of hula hoops. But I've been drinking water all day (apart from one coffee with skimmed milk at group) and just 1 syn for dinner so maybe not as bad as I used to be, as I'd usually have the focaccia for lunch and then a bag of chips for dinner (usually with a can of Coke).

I got the summer planner with a countdown and haven't even touched the planner yet so need to remind myself to track everything again so I don't go wildly off plan. Fingers crossed. I always do well until the weekend then it's so hard to behave on Monday and Tuesday again.

ALemonyPea · 13/09/2017 18:56

I'm doing well at target, although had fallen into a bad spiral for the past three weeks due to holiday/stress/stress/more stress. Have had a good two days though and hopefully will lose the small amount I've gained. Im going to try lose an extra 7lb before Christmas as well, so we shall see how that goes.

Basin, if you're not going to be happy with calling target now, then don't do it. How much do you have to go for target?

I have an awful relationship with food. It's definitely improved since I've been doing SW, but I could feel myself getting back into old habits last week and was quite upset. Hopefully I've pulled myself out of the hole.

Coker79 · 13/09/2017 19:44

Thanks I check with other people too and you are right they are 1.5 syns for half the pack. Thank you

lauryloo · 13/09/2017 20:09

0.5 on this week. Not bad as I was ridiculously off plan

Back on the wagon today with an sp day

I've got a wedding to go to in a month and my goal is to fit in a size 14 dress (I'm between that and a 16 ATM)

BasinHaircut · 13/09/2017 20:29

lemony I'm about 6lbs from target but I've been here since about April. I might call target and then set a new one in the new year. I feel like I need to take the pressure off trying to lose as I'm not losing (and if I'm honest not trying) but I'll still do SW and if I don't feel that pressure I might even start to lose as I won't be constantly thinking about food and feeling guilty, eating more and repeat.

I'm also stepping up my exercise and have recently got back into weight training. That will affect my ability to lose weight, but I might still lose fat. I don't want to hinder that because it's not a benefit that's showing on the scales IYSWIM. Even if I don't lose fat I'll be in a better place than I'd be if I wasn't doing it.

I dunno, just feel like I need to take my focus off of weight loss. But I want to still weigh in to make sure I'm not gaining. So calling target seems like the most sensible option for now

0.5 off this week. Half a pound is half a pound though.

emwithme · 13/09/2017 22:04

Welcome back butt

Lost 2 lbs at group tonight, v happy. Only 11.5 lbs to get back into target now. Hopefully will be there by Christmas.

UnwiseOldElf · 14/09/2017 07:23

Missed group last night as couldn't find anywhere to park. Realise I should have walked ('body magic' - ack! I hate that term!) but it's in an area I don't know very well was getting dark.

Have stuck to plan since last week's revelation that I needed a third of speed on my plate to replace some food, not as well as Grin. So hopefully should have a loss when I go back next week.

Sorry for the 'me' post. Will come back and check in properly later.

Groovee · 14/09/2017 09:44

Oh unwise sorry to hear you missed class. But good for you for stick to plan. Well done Trills.

Groovee · 14/09/2017 09:46

Came home from brownies last night to Mr Groovee and Master Groovee pacing the floor as our wifi hub wasn't working. Virgin we're here at 8am giving us a new hub. So we have wifi again.

I just cannot be bothered to eat just now. No idea what's wrong.

passmethewineplease · 14/09/2017 09:47

Well done em

I lost half, not fantastic but as long as the numbers go down I am happy!

Haven't even had breakfast yet. My car us having something done and my hifis are in there. Blush

Tweetypie30 · 14/09/2017 13:34

Argh, I've been eating for England over the last two days. I always do this, loose about 10lbs, think I can eat rubbish and still loose weight, obviously I can't, end up giving up and gain it all back plus more before re joining. Argh!!! Not this time though, I want to know what colour the 1 stone award looks like. Back on it today.

Well done everyone who has lost this week.

I'm feeling inspired by all the talk about soup. Can anyone post a link to the speedy tomato soup please?

I add the carrots complete with water and never put a stock cube or the additional water in.

Groovee · 14/09/2017 15:57

I've never bought tinned carrots. Might need to look at a can to measure out frozen ones 😂

ALemonyPea · 14/09/2017 17:08

I wasn't impressed with the faux Heinz soup. Much prefer proper veg soup.

lauryloo · 14/09/2017 19:14

Tweety, I do the same.

I'm back on it with a vengeance after a little gain this week!

Does anyone know if you can have yogurts on an sp day?

Groovee · 14/09/2017 20:23

Laury no you can't. You can have quark as it's protein x

buttwingsham · 14/09/2017 21:20

Hi emSmile

All the talk of soup has inspired me to make some tomorrow I really like lentil and bacon.

I'm trying to make some new things as I easily get bored. I made two chubby cubs zesty chicken the other day and it was absolutely delicious it tasted like chicken with basil and chilli from a Thai restaurant.

I also had stewed Bramley Apple with custard last night I had half a b left so I put some flaked almonds on top. I found some mini pots of custard which are only 2.5 syns. It felt like a proper pudding.
I'm being a rebel a refusing to syn the apple as it was only one!

m0therofdragons · 14/09/2017 23:06

Hi all,

I've finally joined. I lost my baby weight 6 years ago on sw but in the last year I've discovered a love of all food and have put on just under 2 stone.

I've had success on 5:2 before but I just can't even stick to it for a week this time so slimming world makes sense.

My slight complication is dd1 9yo is under weight so I think I'll have to put her back on full fat milk and buy me the 1% milk. Can't risk her losing weight!

Also need to figure out how to log onto the website but it's late now so it's a job for tomorrow. Anyone know how many syns muller light lemon Greek yoghurt is? (I mixed it with porridge for the morning then realised it's probably not a free muller light yoghurt Sad).

Hope joining here will keep me focused!

Groovee · 15/09/2017 05:39

Welcome @m0therofdragons. The Greek style yogurts in the wee packs are free x

OwlinaTree · 15/09/2017 07:07

Morning all.
