Ham and spring onion are my favourite combination.

emwithme · 10/09/2017 21:23

My eggy muffins are 5 eggs, 250g cottage cheese (I really like the Longley Farm Fat Free with Chives) mixed together and then added to slightly fried off mushrooms and onion because I made them before I went food shopping and the fridge was almost bare poured into silicon muffin trays and topped with half a cherry tomato, and cooked for 25 mins on 180 (fan). This makes 11 muffins (2 per day for 5 days and one to eat while I'm packing them up Grin

Trills · 11/09/2017 07:54

Thanks both :) It's good to know your preferred combinations (or what you tend to have lying around)

MynewnameisKy · 11/09/2017 11:50

At the end of my very first week of Slimmingworld having stuck rigidly to the plan I have lost ...1.5 pounds.

I'm so disappointed!

Groovee · 11/09/2017 12:42

Keep at it @MynewnameisKy, you might see bigger results next week.

ALemonyPea · 11/09/2017 12:53

How much do you have to lose Ky?

I use quark in my eggy muffins, makes them more filling.

Had a crap day yesterday. Went to the Toby and was going to have a salad, but had stress a few hours before so had a huge carvery and then apple crumble and custard afterwards. Had Diet Coke though, so that's ok right?

I had my comfort eating head in yesterday, wasn't great but I didn't eat half as much as I'd usually eat.

ElChan03 · 11/09/2017 13:05

I'd like some advice as to what people accompany with soups. I made a big batch and portioned it in Tupperware but keep thinking I need a slice of toast with that for tea. Does anyone have an ideas of what goes with soup that is as satisfying as bread etc.

Tweetypie30 · 11/09/2017 13:45

Mini non scale victory for me this morning. I was out with my toddler who decided to throw a massive tantrum. I felt very helpless and stressed but I had to ride it out in a very public place. I really, really, really wanted to comfort/stress eat and have a large slice of cake. I didn't give in though and now I'm tucking into some watermelon instead Halo

MynewnameisKy · 11/09/2017 15:36

Well done Tweetypie stress eating is such a hard habit to break.

I have about a stone to loose so would just have liked a bigger start. I think I need to drink more water.

Tweetypie30 · 11/09/2017 16:15

Tell me about it. I'm trying to address the issues behind why I comfort eat and binge. I enjoy the diet and it works for me but I find I always slip back into old habits and gain it all back and more before starting again.

You've only got a little bit to loose so I guess it will come off more slowly. It is disappointing when you want to loose more but don't let it put you off sticking to plan this week.

Notmybag · 11/09/2017 18:05

@MynewnameisKy
I had small loss first week but as I've stuck to plan the losses are actually increasing slightly each week. 2.5lb last week. I'm happy with that - it's a rally good loss and excellent progress

christmasunicorn · 11/09/2017 18:33

Well done tweety! NSV are the best!
mynewname I also only lost 1.5lb in my first week. Slow and steady. I'm hoping for a bigger loss this week (3rd weigh in) but I realise af is due on weigh day so maybe my "big" loss can wait for next week instead

Groovee · 12/09/2017 07:01

Weigh in tonight! I've maintained and gained the last few weeks. I'm constipated despite drinking lots of water. Hoping things sort themselves out today.

latedecember1963 · 12/09/2017 11:46

I'm a day late reporting in, don't know where the day went yesterday!

I maintained yesterday. I was involved in a local community event most of last week and over the weekend so I relied more on sandwiches for lunch whereas I'd normally have a syn-free carb such as couscous. Will go back to having bread as an occasional treat again.

Slightly stressed that my car has developed a horrible noise and has had to go to the garage. I need to drive DS2 to uni on Sunday to start his 1st year so I'm hoping it's something trivial. Better now than on the M6 with a fully loaded car! I'm keeping clear of the Pringles and other goodies he's got in for his get-together with his mates this evening 😁

Hope you get the result you want, Groovee, on all counts!

Groovee · 12/09/2017 17:15

-2.5, down a stone bracket. 3.5st award

Trills · 12/09/2017 19:06

Woop, well done.

OwlinaTree · 12/09/2017 19:17

Well done groovee. Half a lb on for me, grrr!

christmasunicorn · 12/09/2017 19:30

Well done @Groovee

ALemonyPea · 12/09/2017 20:09

Well done Groovee.

Owlina, good luck for a loss next week.

Best things to dip in soup? You could use bread for your B choice. You get three slices of Kingsmill no crust bread for a b choice. If you have the time, marmite and cheese scan bran rolls are nice as well.

christmasunicorn · 12/09/2017 21:03

Gained 1lb 😢 gutted!

eeyoredebbie · 12/09/2017 21:06

@ElChan03 I cook a couple of Linda McCartney ROAR sausages to go with my soup as I nearly always use my HEB at breakfast. I've seen other people using cooked meats as well x

Groovee · 12/09/2017 21:43

We were discussing soups tonight. Going to make some new ones.

Sorry to those who gained. I was so annoyed last week when I gained. The week before I maintained.

OwlinaTree · 12/09/2017 22:34

Yes an annoying 'stuck to plan all week, wtf' for me. I've been writing at home so I knew it was coming. Hey ho, hope for better next week.

OwlinaTree · 12/09/2017 22:35

Weighing not writing!

PositiveAttitude · 12/09/2017 22:50

Last 2 weeks I have had very undeserved gains, which I have put down to stress. Stuck to plan rigidly over those 2 weeks and was hugely disappointed. This week - I have been comfort eating for England! Plus DH whisked me away for a luxury meal, bed and breakfast for my birthday. Loads consumed - enough syns for a month - and guess what???? I only went and lost 1 bloodylb!!! My body makes no sense whatsoever!!!!! Back to the 5 stone lost, so I am pleased with that.

If you have had an undeserved gain, take heart!! Keep going, your body will catch up!!
