I've decided tomorrow night after weigh in I am having two slices of white thick hot buttered floraed toast.

Bit worried what will happen tomorrow as probably not been eating or drinking enough as was rough all last week with my chest, then I had an awesome unexpected huge 4lbs loss last time, plus it's shark week or wtf they call it. So who knows what's going to happen!? Whatever, I feel thinner and my fella was praising my curvy waist at the weekend and said my bum felt smaller Grin

FoofFighter · 04/07/2017 20:35

Re crabs btw my DD, who is 3, loves crab sticks. She today picked up a huge crab on the beach and I was waiting for the question, as we had the chicken from chickens realisation a few weeks ago, but no she didn't make the connection!

NachoAddict · 04/07/2017 20:40

Shark week Grin they call it star week at our group not sure why though.

That could have been a tricky one Foof

ClashCityRocker · 04/07/2017 20:45

Oh man white bread toast slathered in butter...... Mmmmm

DH is cooking sw chilli for tea which I'm looking forward to. Although he hasn't actually started yet.....

I can never tell how I've 'done' usually... Some weeks I've lost when I didn't deserve to, and vice versa. The human body is a funny old thong.

FoofFighter · 04/07/2017 20:57

Well I think shark week is more apt tbh haha

CLash, last week I felt fat swollen and bloaty, and as I say I pulled a -4lbs - there's not rhyme or reason really, our bodies will do what they want anyway regardless!
You've not had tea yet? I'd have eaten my own arm by now

NachoAddict · 04/07/2017 21:01

I think I will refer to it as shark week from now on. I certainly get snappy around that time.

If someone hadn't even started cooking for me at this time I would consider eating them!

Amethyst975 · 04/07/2017 21:44

Hello! I'd like to enlist, if I may! Wink I haven't caught up with all the posts on this thread yet but intend to over the next day or so.

Joined SW 1.5 years ago and lost lots of weight but have been completely derailed since Christmas at the end of last year and have put it all back on again. Sad

Rejoined SW tonight and am feeling motivated but nervous because I've been at this point so many times before. Hoping you lot can keep me motivated and inspired and perhaps I can do the same for others?! Smile

PositiveAttitude · 04/07/2017 22:18

Welcome Amethyst.

0.5lb ON for me tonight, but I am happy with that as I had expected a lot worse after my anniversary shenanigans! Plan on being on top of the game 100% starting tomorrow morning (always relax a bit on a Tuesday evening after WI) I always enjoy a white bread roll or sandwich after WI, too. Blush

BasinHaircut · 04/07/2017 22:23

Welcome amethyst!

Shark week Grin love it.

Dinner tonight was chorizo and veg spaghetti with feta and lettuce. Was yum.

Had my first gym session in this 6 week kickstart thing I'm doing and i think I'm going to ache tomorrow. Going to do 3 x sessions per week for the next 6 weeks.

Hi all, some good losses and lovely meals being posted here.

Half a lb off for me which was a surprise! 4 lb to go now till my target I think.

funnygirlthatbelle · 05/07/2017 10:08

I would like to join please! I had my first week weigh in today - lost 1.5lbs which I wasn't overly impressed with (my friend I go with lost 5lbs!) but better than nothing at all, plus it was my star/shark week Smile. I'm making the SW Mac & Cheese tonight which I am really quite excited about.

LavenderRainbows · 05/07/2017 10:48

I lost 1lb and got my 5 Stone certificate today!!Grin
It's taken 9 months and I can't really believe it.

Welcome belle and amethyst Smile

Well done lav that is amazing!!! You must be so pleasedSmile

Nacho I think it's called star week because they used to keep track of your cycle in the weigh in book (in the olden days before the tablet!) and used to mark it with a star if you were on your period. But I agree shark week is much better!

Well done to all the losers. I'm chuffed today as I lost 3lbs.

LavenderRainbows · 05/07/2017 11:37

Thanks sham & well done on your 3lbStar

ALemonyPea · 05/07/2017 11:52

Right! I have had a week of not so great eating, managed three proper days on plan, the rest not so much. Need to get back on this otherwise Ill end up the size of a house again.

Ive been starting the day offline, with good intentions, then come 2pm Ive been picking and it escalates from there. Not great way of eating. I feel all bloated.

Great losses everyone, keep up the good work.

FlowersStarStarStar well done Lavender!

I lost 1lb. Fine with that Smile

It's diamond member week. I wished that rebelfit twat was there to see it. He claims that 0% of sw goers keep weight off long term. That he has issued a challenge for any to prove him wrong and nobody has come forward --probably cause nobody has heard of you duckie

Three diamond members in my group who have kept at target for 2,3 and six years.
Shove that up your arse rebeltwat!!!

BasinHaircut · 05/07/2017 13:22

lav and foof and sham good work!

5 stones is just wow.

Today is going well for me so far and looking forward to Chilli with wedges/veg and cheeeeeese for dinner later.

I've got 2 meals out there this week which I hadn't really realised. First one should be ok but second is a pub roast on Sunday (which is also the day before weigh day). I'm hoping that the roast isn't too 'luxurious' as I'd quite like a pudding too! Saving syns definitely.

BasinHaircut · 05/07/2017 14:27

Can I ask an SP question?

If meals are supposed to be 50/50 protein and speed, if you wanted (for example) beans and mushrooms on toast using a HEXB, how would that work? What proportions of your meal should be P and S?

On a normal EE day it would be a third P, third S and the remaining third the bread. But I don't understand how you can do 50/50 and use 2 HEXB's!

LavenderRainbows · 05/07/2017 14:37

basin I would see it as mushrooms=speed
Beans=protein
Toast= HexB
Then have another portion of HEXB later on?
I've hardly done any SP days so just guessing Grin

LavenderRainbows · 05/07/2017 14:38

So beans/mushrooms 50/50 & HexB as extra

FoofFighter · 05/07/2017 15:08

Yes that's right, as long as your non hex food is split into 50/50 that's right.

PositiveAttitude · 05/07/2017 15:26

Well done Lavender You certainly beat me to it. I was hoping for mine by now, but hopefully within the next month. I've been yo-yoing and am now 4lb away. Hmm

Welcome funnygirl

I am even more pleased with my "just" 0.5lb gain last night as now my shark week has arrived too, so I would have expected a gain for that as well. Now I understand why I went so wildly off the rails after my meal out and ate all the chocolate and peanuts and cheese that I could get in my gob! Hopeful to be in the right direction next week.

FruitTwist2017 · 05/07/2017 16:12

What's shark week?

PositiveAttitude · 05/07/2017 16:29

Fruit someone up thread put shark week instead of star week, so I carried put it too!!! Smile

FoofFighter · 05/07/2017 16:54

Sorry that was me, I knew SW had a way of saying when you were having a period but got it slightly wrong
