positive have a ring round local riding schools. They do have weight limits as they should for welfare reasons. But each school will vary depending what they have in. The riding school near us has an upper limit of 13st as they have a big French horse (a perchon) that is basically a giant shetland pony so is a good weight carrier.

Just ring and ask. It's a question they do get asked so don't feel daft about it. They will probably weigh you before your first lesson too so remember to have a good idea of what you weigh with clothes and boots on so you don't get a shock when you are 3lb heavier because of riding gear.

I am going to have some lessons soon too. Probably after the easter holidays. I have baby pony to start riding when I have trained her a bit more and haven't rode for about 15 years and had 2 dcs in between so my posture and balance will all be to cock. Am starting some pilates soon too to try and improve my core strength which is fooked after 2 c sections.

Having a stressful day so far. Downstairs loo was blocked and had to get my hand up the back of the U bend. Boak. Then the washing machine was fooked. Then I went to get ds ready for nursery and he has chicken pox. Was expecting it as 11 have had it at nursery but it's still a pain. He is still full of beans though so it will be a long day stuck in the house. And obviously we will be in for a good week until he has scabbed up.

Sham hugs. Hopefully it's been caught early enough to be sorted.

Todays plan

B. Coffee
L. Hm veg soup
T. Shepherds pie and a fuckton of veg

emwithme · 30/03/2017 11:48

So I only gained 1/2 lb. Ecstatic.

Still sad and angry, but happy that I haven't gained too much.

I am just going to take one day at a time. I feel hideously pre-menstrual as well today so I think AF may well be here by the weekend...

Groovee · 30/03/2017 12:24

That's great Em.

I'm sat in the dr's to get bloods done. I think this iron issue is back.

Had half a chicken tikka subway salad before coming but I just wanna go to bed.

alibongo5 · 30/03/2017 13:25

I had a health check at my doctor's today. Slightly raised cholesterol and slightly high BMI. And 2lb heavier than I was on Tuesday! Hope that's just the difference in scales! Need to rein it back in after two nights on the lash - so no booze until Saturday at least - and maybe until after WI on Tuesday (who am I kidding?).

BasinHaircut · 30/03/2017 13:38

em that's fab, hopefully that will give you a little boost.

groovee take care.

ali remember no 2 scales are the same!

What a bloody glorious day! The shed hasn't been done because I'm pretty sure I've hurt my back pushing the trolley at the supermarket so don't want to make it worse shifting all of our crap about.

Have just organised DS's wardrobe though (they grow so fast!) and DH has assembled the flat pack toy storage for his bedroom so will get that all filled up and the toys sorted after lunch which I'm just cooking now.

Got Dr's this pm about my foot issue that's not getting any better and stopping me from doing much exercise. I'm also going to ask for a blood test as I think my iron might be low too, I'm constantly tired and have a permanent headache.

ALemonyPea · 30/03/2017 14:00

That's not bad at all Em, you'll have that off in no time.

I had SW mushroom soup with blue Stilton in for lunch, was yummy.

Hope you're ok Groovee.

Having Chinese takeaway tonight, not sure what to have. Really can't be chewed with rice though.

That's fab Em! Hi Whoknows!
Off work now for 2 weeks Grin so feeling relaxed .

B courgette oats heB, half heA
L homemade coleslaw (1 syn of mayo) on salad
D pasta, veggie sauce, green beans, bacon, rest heA cheese.
Syns 2 choc truffles . DH on way home with Wine but luckily I've got to go out babysitting so can't be tempted.

loveslipstick · 30/03/2017 21:31

I just went into automatic mode and ate 85g of white chocolate 🙈🙈🙈 I dread to think what the syns are on that

emwithme · 30/03/2017 21:53

Don't worry too much loves. It's about 7 syns for 25 grams so you've probably had about 23 syns? Just pull it back over the rest of the week if you can.

I tend to go for the "105 syns per week" rather than 15 a day. Some days I'm perfectly happy with only 2 or 3; other days (Sundays) I need 25 ish (proper gravy, yorkshire puddings).

Groovester · 30/03/2017 22:04

2.5lbs off. 4 stone award. 4 stones 1.5lbs off in total. Delighted Grin

Well done @Groovester

Alfieisnoisy · 31/03/2017 07:42

Weigh day today and I will definitely stay the same of have a small gain because we have been out a lot this week. I have no problem with this because for me weight loss is a journey....and I am taking the scenic route Smile. I have learned from my last weight loss attempts that it's all too easy for me to give up if I have a period of socialising lots and a gain or two.
For me this is about finding a lifelong way of eating and regulating my weight. I've got my Club 10 now so that's good and I will keep going.
It helps that I am part do the social team at club so I have to go Grin

alibongo5 · 31/03/2017 09:02

Well done Groovee - fabulous achievement!

And I totally agree Alfie I don't have huge losses but I am going in the right direction while still enjoying myself - and that's the way I want it!

Groovee · 31/03/2017 09:40

Morning everyone!

It's Friday! School holidays start today. Hoping my weight loss isn't affected with nearly 3 weeks off!

Bought a new smaller bra 10 days ago and it's feeling loose on the first and middle clips.

Shamoffour · 31/03/2017 09:53

Well done groovester! And lav! What fabulous losses.

I've had a two day hiatus which has resulted in a 2.5lb gain which I fuming with. It can fuck the fuck off!
So I've just done my shred (nearly killed me) and the dog is getting a walk whether it like it or not.
Whenever I get her lead she looks all confused as if to say "you? Taking me for a walk?!!!"
Disclaimer- we do walk her it's just dps job!

I'm making two soups today- lentil and bacon and chicken and veg.

I'm upping the speed big time and only eating when I'm hungry not as a hobby.

ALemonyPea · 31/03/2017 10:20

Well done losers. 4 stone is a fantastic amount to lose.

Well done groovester and groovee!

Dinner last night and breakfast were both off-plan again. Whoops!

Who wants to join me in aiming for a totally on-plan April? Well I say on-plan but I do have a few events where I will either be off plan for an evening or will have to settle for food optimising instead but I am declaring them all to myself upfront and other than that I'm going for it.

I'm even going to try food prepping so I only need to cook a few times a week and don't have to try and think of dinners that I can stretch to leftovers for lunch etc. Plus on nights DH or I are busy the other doesn't stray because they can't be arsed to cook for one etc, or grab something for convenience if home late etc.

Anyone in?

Shamoffour · 31/03/2017 13:18

I'm in basin. I have one night out at the end of April but only drinking where I plan to go off plan other than that I will join you. I'm away 8 weeks today and have to get my body out!!!!

ALemonyPea · 31/03/2017 13:24

I'm in, I'm always in. Just doesn't show in the scales.

I'm trying to do three meals a day, no snacking, so will continue that through April. I have three days off plan planned, but I think I'm going to try do them more on plan as I want to get to target. They're all the same weekend (Easter) so should be easy enough to do. Good Friday we are gettin fish and chips, so I'll make my own chips and pick the batter off the fish. On the Saturday I'm going to York for my niece's 13th, I can eat on plan, and on Easter Sunday my Mam is doing an Italian feast, I can still stay on plan, I'll use Mose my syns here I think. I'm not getting weighed until the following Friday from that, so it'll be gone by then I hope. I meant to put a holiday in, but out the wrong date in before I bought a countdown and my consultant can't change it, so I'd lose the free week.

OP posts:
OrianaBanana · 31/03/2017 13:40

1.5lbs off here so 1 stone 2 lbs in total this time so far. Happy with that but dreading the Easter holidays....

BasinHaircut · 31/03/2017 14:40

Just looked it up and thus weekend is all good. Ive got s christening next weekend and I'm going to try and stay on plan for that because it's not until the afternoon so lunch first.

Weekend after I've got a meal out where there will be a few drinks consumed but not enough that I need hangover food next day. That's also Easter but I won't have any chocolate, and dinner will be a roast so hopefully won't be too bad.

Weekend after I have a hen night so will be goofy and booze but again will try to not go mad so I can get back on plan again the next day.

Apart from that I'm 100% on plan for April. I've got 7lbs to target but am setting a mini target of 4lbs for April that will take me under 11st.

BasinHaircut · 31/03/2017 14:40

Well done oriana.
