I had my own nsv today, I got more work trousers (costing me a fortune this weight loss!!) & am now in a size 16. I was a 22 5 months agoGrin

Had a bad day food wise tho. A big fat cake fell into my mouth. I blame my friend who can eat anything and is a size 10! Was bloody lovely but probably about 40 synsBlush

Epic SW disaster coming today. I have 2 work leaving do's to attend, one at lunchtime (in a Chinese restaurant) and the other in the pub/Thai after work.

I won't drink so that's ok, but need to stay strong and not order the fried rice! Not going to try and work out syns, that way madness lies, but just food optimise as much as possible. Boiled rice or noodles and beef or chicken in black bean for lunch, not sure on dinner so any suggestions welcome!

Me? Not so much. I can't get my head back in the game, I'm so damn angry at everything and I am such an emotional eater. And when you're emotional eating, on-plan things just don't cut it.

I need to lose 1.5 lbs to get back into target (or I'll have to pay next week) and I don't think I've done it.

It doesn't help that I was feeling "stuck in a food rut" even before the MC - but it was OK because I was "supplementing" Grin with delicious off-plan snacks and cheese whenever the mood took me! And now I need to go back to just the nice healthy food and I can't. I just can't get my head around it.

Literally no one is going to judge you for not being in target range right now. I know it must be disheartening but just pay the fiver and see how you feel next week. It's a fiver and it's 1.5lbs, a really big poo's worth, which is probably all water retention anyway.

It's really not worth fretting about right now, it's probably just creating more stress for you and you really need to be gentle with yourself.

Em, nobody will judge you for eating what you want, you're going through a very emotional time, be kinder to yourself and take the gain, it's needed and you know you'll get back on it when you feel ready 🎉

Em - please cut yourself some slack. You can't possibly be expected to be in the right frame of mind to be on plan at the moment. I know that it's a vicious circle at times where you eat because you're unhappy and angry and then you're unhappy and angry because you've eaten badly but really it's not at all surprising.

I really don't know how to word it but please be kind to yourself and as Basin said, just pay the fiver and accept it's not going to be your priority right now.

I just want to give you a hug.

Em I know how you feel. When I had my MC I ate nothing but coco pops with whole milk for a while. Do whatever you need to do to get through. No one will judge, keep going to class or take a break entirely, whatedver you need Flowers

Hugs Em. It's difficult enough to stay on plan when things are going well. But I would find it impossible when things are shit. Be kind to yourself and remember how far you have come.

I am struggling too. No real reason other than the scales are slow to go down and quick to go up. And I have been lazy and hangry and busy and stressy and a million and 1 other excuses. Had last weekend and most of this week off and put a holiday in for today.

But am putting a line under it now. I need to lose at least another 1.5st to be happy. And ideally be on target and a bit more toned up by august.

Todays plan

B. Coffee
L. Egg salad sandwich with some mayo. Heb choice plus 3 syns.
T. Chilli con carne with rice and broccoli.

Ds wants to start riding dpony so have been working dpony for 2 weeks and I have my pony to bring into work so hoping the extra work for me will help with a loss and tone up my flabby thighs. I really want to do a pilates/yoga class at gym too and need to crack on with some davina keep fit dvds at home.

I think I need to move more rather than eat less at this stage.

I know the feeling Frouby. I sit at my computer all day at work and then sit in front of the TV/laptop in the evening. It's funny last year I went to the gym loads but couldn't get on with dieting, this year it's the other way round! It's like I can only concentrate on one thing at a time!

Maybe next week - this week just ain't gonna happen!

I am starting a circuit training class next weds evening. Ive tried going to the gym at lunchtimes but I just can't be arsed with carrying all the stuff in to work and also it's such a rush (and the classes aren't all that). So am planning to cancel that.

Will walk to and from group on a Monday from now on instead of taking the car too.

In other news I did not good optimise at lunchtime. And I quite fancy a glass of wine after work.

No because the phrase body magic makes me stabby! Why oh why is SW so damn twee?

Don't think I've come across anyone in group who has done it, although they'll mention exercising in image therapy (another twattish term imho).

Might be our consultant though - she doesn't seem much of a fan of moving, or anything other than muller lights and hifi bars.

I should really start a log, I guess. I've been deliberately doing more walking and am hoping to get into the gym a bit more.

Good to see some great losses! Wi tomorrow, I've been fairly good food wise all week so hoping for my stone and a half award.

I lost half a pound.

Feel shit today. Today Dp got some test results and he has skin cancer. He has caught it early and the doctor has made lots of positive noises. But it's knocked us for six a bit.
We are going out for steak and wine.
