Congrats faith!!

Groovee · 15/02/2017 22:16

Well done Faith

SpaghettiMeatballs · 16/02/2017 07:02

1lb on here. I'm not surprised. I've had a lot of off plan crap this week. Loads of excuses... visitors, sick child etc but really I just want to draw a line under it and do better next week.

I'd be happy with 1.5lb next week to take me into a net loss overall.

I'll be back to posting what I eat on here again. I've avoided this thread this week as I know I've been a bit self destructive.

LavenderRains · 16/02/2017 07:14

Well done faith on that 2 stone certificate Star

emwithme · 16/02/2017 08:36

Well done losers and congrats on the sticky foot Faith and mum

Positive that is seriously excellent news about Grandbaby!

Need to not have gained more than 1.5 lbs today so I'm still in target range. Apparently then I can gain ALL THE WEIGHT while I'm upduffed without having to pay. I'm not sure about that...

Racmactac · 16/02/2017 09:32

Hi I joined online last night so thought I'd join you all.
Various accidents and illnesses over the last few years have now seen my weight creep up to 11st 7lb. I feel and look bloody awful.
My dh told me I was getting fat - had been trying to ignore reality but can't do any longer.
So here I am.

Shamoffour · 16/02/2017 09:48

Lav I know it was a bit wet!! It was empty though just walked on every ride it was great, hoping for the same today.
Everyone's food looks lovely and we'll done all the losers!

Frouby · 16/02/2017 10:04

Morning all.

Bleurgh have forced breakfast down this morning. Am going to try and eat something before 2pm everyday to trick my body into boosting it's metabolism. I managed a banana and a yoghurt. Know there is no speed but am working up to that lol.

Lunch will be veg soup if I can rally myself to make it. Tea is sausage, mash and veg. Need to find the syns on the sausages as they are normal ones. Couldn't find the heck ones and the low fat option didn't look very appetising.

Groovester · 16/02/2017 10:36

Well done Faith.
Congratulations Em. Lovely news!
2lb off for me this morning. Happy with that.

MargotsDevil · 16/02/2017 10:53

Congrats to Em; lovely news! Champagne will be just as good in 8/9 months!

I'm having a wobble after losing 13lb in 3 weeks; a hen weekend followed by 2 meals out this week I'm in denial about the gin and red wine means that I'm hoping for a maintain - I've been really good and have had a few syn free/SP days to try and compensate. It's now half term though Blush

emwithme · 16/02/2017 11:57

Whoops Blush Gained 2 lbs. Need to lose 1/2 next week so I'm back in target range.

Off to hotel this afternoon, home on Sunday. Back on plan Monday for 3 days SP...

harderandharder2breathe · 16/02/2017 12:55

So last night I had a big binge and feel horrible Sad

Then got to work and there was a little box of Milk Tray on my desk. So that stopped me buying chocolate but that was all my syns for the day spread out between morning snack and lunch (seven chocolates 2.5 each, I arguably get 20syns a day due to my size).

BasinHaircut · 16/02/2017 13:22

margot and harder just draw a line and start again. Nothing you can do about what's happened, it's what you do next that counts!

muminthecity · 16/02/2017 14:26

Had dinner out at a local pub last night - did ok. Had a grilled chicken breast, rice and salad (dressing on the side - I did have a little bit.) Avoided desert altogether which was hard as everyone else had one! I'm glad I stayed on plan, but found it a bit depressing to be honest. The food was ok, but bland and looked shit compared to everyone else's. Meals out should be more enjoyable than that surely! Next time I may just order a burger and have fewer syns the rest of the week.

BasinHaircut · 16/02/2017 14:57

Just had to go and get a big bag of crisps. Went to the gym at lunch and so my leftover curry just didn't fill me up. Within syns so it's all good but think on gym days (going to try and do 2x per week lunch sessions) I need to make sure I bring more food. Don't want to be reaching for the crisps every time.

And I'm still STARVING!

BasinHaircut · 16/02/2017 15:02

mum you have to decide whether the occasion is worth it I reckon. For a special occasion I'd save syns to really enjoy, but a random ad hoc pub dinner I wouldn't bother.

I have convinced my friends that we must eat in pizza express on Saturday as I know I can order something for 6 syns! Grin

Emmageddon · 16/02/2017 15:13

Oh God, my Valentine's day mini holiday was brilliant but an utter dieting disaster. Yes, I could have had fat free natural yoghurt and grapes for breakfast instead of a full English. Yes, I could have decided the 6 course meal was not the best idea and eaten some plain noodles instead. Yes, I could have opted for a single gin and diet tonic instead of a couple of pints of cider. But I didn't. Blush

But I had a bloody good time, and now I have 5 days before my next weigh-in, so it's speed foods all the way, with a bit of fresh fruit thrown in, and a few carbs because I'm working the next couple of nights.

Aldi are selling vegetable spaghetti (butternut squash and carrot) for 89p so I've bought a couple of tubs of that, and I'm going to dig my spiraliser out of the cupboard to make my own over the weekend.

Emmageddon · 16/02/2017 15:15

Oh and the car is in for repair so I will be cycling/walking everywhere for the next few days whilst praying the garage bill won't be too horrendous and that has to help with the weight loss, right?

Groovee · 16/02/2017 15:22

Basin, try a protein based lunch for Gym days.

I've been doing afternoons at work, so have an early lunch at 11am and try to make sure it's protein based. That keeps me going until 5pm.

BasinHaircut · 16/02/2017 15:33

Good idea groovee, probably wasn't enough protein in there.

mamawitch · 16/02/2017 16:12

Hello thought I would join if that's ok. I joined SW 2 weeks ago, weigh in day is a Thursday.

Down 2lbs today although think I cheated a bit by wearing the lightest clothes I could find Blush

Have now lost 5.5lbs still got 2st 9lbs to go until target.
I have decided to have pizza for tea,as I love it and I am missing it, but will have loads of salad and some syn free chips on the side. Also have been craving some fresh cream Victoria sponge cake ( no idea why it's not something I would normal have!) but I am going to have a slice (7syns). If I don't the craving will grow and I will end up stood in a supermarket shoving one in my fecking mouth.

Happy slimming!... Oh not sure what I make of my sw group yet. Feel like I am one of those people who joins in your conversation and asks to borrow your lippy in the toilets on a girls night out. Confused #clicky

Emmageddon · 16/02/2017 16:17

My SW group is different, depending on what time of day you go - there are 4 meetings in total. I usually go to the morning one, and the group tends to be mainly older people, but the evening group that I have also been to, is full of much younger people. The facebook group is full of all age groups and I find it very supportive. Everyone is friendly and there's no clique that I can see. Some people know each other already, and some people are very long-standing members, but most of us are just starting out on our hopefully successful journey to being slim.

BasinHaircut · 16/02/2017 16:33

witch give it a few weeks. I felt a bit like that at first but I've been there 5/6 weeks now and already starting to feel like one of the gang.

I felt a bit on the outside too because in comparison I don't have much to lose but as it turns out that was my prejudice not theirs and the ladies there are all great. People from all walks of life but in that room they are all a team. It sounds cheesy but it's like a little community.

ChessieFL · 16/02/2017 16:54

Basin, what do you get from Pizza Express that is 6 Syns?!

Groovee · 16/02/2017 17:42

Welcome Mama.

I got the seafood casserole from M&S which is free! It had peppers in it 😢 picked as many as I could out. I'm still recovering from eating them on Monday. It was nice but the pepper have put me off.
