Anyone else awake at night and wanting company on sleepless nights?

Is there any thread on here for those who have trouble sleeping at night? Just to keep each other company and feel less alone? Would be great if there is x

There did used to be a regular night owls thread. We just used to say hello and chat. It was lovely.

I sometimes listen to storm noises to help me sleep. Not sure if real life ones would work that close!

@BeardySchnauzer we have separate rooms, so all good but animals on bed

Yeah I have 2 dogs on the bed and a fly has just entered the conversation

once dd is home the dogs will be palmed off onto the kids! I dream of separate rooms!!

I think I managed about 2 hours in the last 24. Not only do I have cancer and chemo to contend with, but my Dad is on his last legs too. He is in his 90s and it's expected but I am waiting for the phone call as I can't be with him. It sucks.

@BeardySchnauzer it's amazing! Dh has the loft conversion. I believe he has the other dog and cat.
I love my room, I have walkin wardrobe and ensuite. I can't imagine going back.

Yes 🥺😩 Vomitting bug seems to have hit my house on high alert for next child to wake up and be sick- laundry on and one laundry waiting to go on not going to get any sleep tonight exhausted and feeling sorry for myself 😭😭😭

I am so sorry that was me 3 years ago. The pain is horrendous xxxx I wanted to throw myself in traffic outside the hospital but still here'. I wish I could make it better for you

I’m awake watching Trigger point. Always slept badly but going through a break up is making it worse

I was working late and now i’m suffering awful period pain. Waiting for a gynae referral; looks like it will endometriosis or something. I’m on a cocktail of drugs but nothing really helps.

Alarm goes off at 7am 😵‍💫

Same here but I love it. Even when it’s hammering down loudly I find it strangely relaxing and reassuring

I did manage to sleep but just got woken up by a mozzie buzzing in my ear, I hate those things with a passion.

like it’s not bad enough having pain and under investigation for the pains but then to fall asleep and get woken by a tiny weenie buzzy bastard!

We should 100% bring back the ongoing night owls thread love reading all of your stories but big hugs as some of us are really in the wars.

into wonder if these awake nights are just a woman’s thing as well as all the DHs seem to be snooring. My DH is in another room but sleeps likes log pretty much every single night.

My endo pain would always kick in like clockwork at 4am. It was so annoying
