She started going 7-7 at about 5 months.

tubbycustardtummyache · 15/05/2021 19:52

Oldest when she started school. Was expecting the younger one to do the same but she started sleeping through at 18 months. She still gets up at the crack of dawn though

mygee · 15/05/2021 19:55

My 8 year old doesn't always- I'd say maybe 2-3 nights a week she comes in to our bed. I can't remember the first time she slept through but she must have been at least 2, probably 3.

DS only started to sleep through the night fairly reliably when he started school- before that he had only done it a handful of times.

ladygindiva · 15/05/2021 19:55

Dc1 really early about 6 weeks or so ( I know)
Dt1 about 6 months
Dt2 13 months but not consistently until about 2 yrs

caramelloo · 15/05/2021 19:56

8 months with a lot of hard work

RidingMyBike · 15/05/2021 20:05

6 hour block every night - 6 weeks
11-12 hours - from 5 months

She had a dream feed at 10.15 until 5 months so slept 10.45 - 6.30am from
about 3 months. Dropped dream feed at 5 months and she then did 7.30pm - 6.30am each night.

AlexaNeverListens · 15/05/2021 20:05

DS - around 5 years
DD - around 10 weeks

hemhem · 15/05/2021 20:08

DC1 was around 2.5 and DC2 closer to 3 when started sleeping 10+ hours most nights without needing parental help during the night. But both DC still wake occasionally with a bad dream or something they can't fix in their beds so even now I still get called maybe once a week to help one or the other DC in the middle of the night. Its usually about 3am and because its only once a week or so then I can never get back to sleep myself! Weirdly it was more manageable when they woke every 3-4 hours every single night. Or maybe I was just so sleep deprived I've forgotten how hard it was. These things too shall pass.

tootiredtospeak · 15/05/2021 20:10

First one now nearly 20 about 8 second two 4 months as was determined not to repeat the mistakes I made with the first one but then again he was diagnosed ASD at 4 and was never going to sleep well still doesn't now.

cherryberrylicious · 15/05/2021 20:11

Honestly! DD 1 5 weeks DS 7 weeks

Paddingtonsmarmlade · 15/05/2021 20:14

Dc1 14 months shortly after night weaning
Dc2 8 weeks, most nights until 5 months and then again after night weaning at 13. Still not a great sleeper and we usually have 1 night a week when she gets up still at 2.5

Rosieposie79 · 15/05/2021 20:15

Child 1: 4 months
Child 2: when I bought some earplugs (18 months)

ChunkyButFunky87 · 15/05/2021 20:16

DD . . 2 weeks . . And then she turned 2 and it all went to shit lol she's now 4 and in our bed, remaining there comfortably lol

PrincessesRUs · 15/05/2021 20:19

My first was 14 months but she still wakes up maybe 1 night in 5 and needs to be resettled (at 3 ) my second is 5 months - still waking loads with him!

Cindersrellie · 15/05/2021 20:19

Eight months, we started night weaning and following the No Cry Sleep Solution at 7 months which helped massively.

INeedtobealone · 15/05/2021 20:21

Reliably, 4 years old almost exactly.

Airyfairymarybeary · 15/05/2021 20:27

Does anyone actually sleep through the whole night without waking?

Lostmyway86 · 15/05/2021 20:29

Both mine 3 months. I hate to say it but once I stopped breastfeeding.

RestUp · 15/05/2021 20:59

Somewhere between 7 and 10 weeks for both of mine.

Both formula fed.

Everyone wakes on some level, just not always consciously. DD wakes and stirs, I can see it on the monitor playback. But she doesn’t cry or need me to resettle now which is marvelous. Last night she sat up, rearranged all her toys and lay back down. She’s 20 months. She only cried now of she’s ill, teethyor had a nightmare.
SameToo · 15/05/2021 21:11

Great question!

First: not sure she does but stopped getting into my bed aged 9

Second: 1.5 years off and on. Tends to only wake up if poorly.
