Constantly crashing and freezing.

This started about 3 weeks ago with constant crashing. Now it’s freezing too and taking ages to load,

Particularly awful this weekend. I have to shut down my iPad and re open every time I click on a thread, even then it’s taking a few minutes to load. It’s practically unusable.

I am glad to read it is not just me. It must have happened 50+ times so far today - I should really get offline and do something else.

Yes, it is spectacularly bad today.

Same - Internet explorer and also Firefox. Doesn't happen on safari but I rarely use that as I'm not logged in on the phone.
Blank pages after seconds - and the Robot ad. Impossible to use the site,

Are none of you able to replicate this problem; ie try to use MN and see if you get this freezing/crashing, and then give your phone to your tech team to try and understand what’s going on? It seems bizarre you’re not able to get to the root of this.

Its even worse. every few seconds please fix this! I'm not clicking on ads, just clicking on a page, then whoosh, a blank screen! 😱Make it stop!!!!!

It seems to have stopped on incognito!

I've had an email today asking me to do a screen sharing call with someone from mumsnet hq to help them solve this. I am really surprised thst this is not something you can fix easily.

It has improved no end on my phone. But then I bought a brand new phone. However is is running the same os as the last one.

They've been asking for evidence of all the different awful things happening for months and it's only got worse and worse. This doesn't happen on any other site, why can't they sort it out?
Edited to say seconds after I went on this I went on the 'butter in fridge' thread and got the fake fucking McAfee Shite.

Sorry mumsnet but I've been experiencing issues here also. Keeps lagging, crashing and forcing me onto ads.

This is me too. Fine on my phone, unbearable on my laptop.

Perhaps the problem is someone’s fucking with their site, maliciously.

Get this sorted. It is impossible.

On mn (not on any other place) I get pop-ups with a virus warning [click here - which I never do]

Then within 30-60 seconds my mn screen goes blank - just a white page. It is infuriating and makes it impossible to use the site in any meaningful way.

I'm on a PC using firefox.

I'd be sad to lose all the valuable contact and information I get here, but this is impossible, and I'm about to leave.

For Christs sake get a bloody grip of this

Just tentatively popping on to say mine is working without crashing again. Hurrah. The ads aren’t loading- they are just showing a small square with a blue question mark in. I don’t have an ad blocker installed, so it’s not that. Hate the adverts anyway, so it’s ideal for me

Mine is the same, safari on iPhone but it isn’t just mumsnet, it’s loads of sites. I get round it by using the Google app to access all sites, but my safari barely functions at all. Through the Google app it’s fine.

Mine is pretty unusable today. Just goes blank when I try to scroll down - returns if I refresh the page but then it happens again.

I keep getting a blank page, 4 times in the last few minutes. Been happening for a few days now. Also getting the 'I'm a robot' thing....make that 5 times. I've had to reboot again. Laptop, Microsoft.

No response from MNHQ?

I gave up the other day after waiting nearly 10 mins for MN to load, I only took the first screen shot after I’d already been waiting a few minutes.

Today I have had to constantly shut down and reopen/refresh a ridiculous number of times just to be able to read the op about the poster who’s DH hasn’t spoken to her for 5 weeks because it wouldn’t let me scroll up to read the whole thing. I’ve given up trying to read the (hopefully helpful) responses or what’s actually happened.
