Constantly crashing and freezing.

This started about 3 weeks ago with constant crashing. Now it’s freezing too and taking ages to load,

I’m still having issues with the adverts being slow to load, and I can’t scroll and read threads until the adverts have loaded 😬

I’ve done all the recommended things. It’s only mumsnet that I’m having issues with.

Bookmarks still aren’t working properly either, so both things combined are not making the site easy to use.

Mine is the same and has been for a week or so, I've downloaded the app just so I can see if others are struggling too, this last couple of days I can't get the web version to load at all, I'm on iPhone/Safari, not a huge fan of the app so if the issue doesn't resolve itself then suppose it means less time scrolling on here 😆

Horrible Nespresso thing appearing again (especially irritating as I don’t rate Nespresso machine coffee at all, nasty stuff).

I’m unsurprised to see there’s already a thread for this, I’ve been having issues with slow loading for a while and it’s been particularly bad this morning. It seems that until the banner ad loads then nothing happens. If I refresh the page then I get nothing. It even stalled on trying to load this thread which was amusing!

I don’t understand why MN can’t replicate the issues we are all having.

Maybe a few MN people should get a throwaway email address and sign up to MN and use iPad/iPhones and see the effects that way?

Another issue I’ve been having for a couple of weeks, only on MN, is typing but no words appearing. It then takes a couple of mins after I’ve finished typing for letters to then appear to be pressing themselves on my keypad, and for the text to finally appear.

I am definitely using this site far, far less, but it’s infuriating that, when I do, it also affects any other site I’m trying use loading.

If I have any MN tabs open it completely disables my regular Safari and have to use private mode for everything now whereas a few months ago I only had to use private for MN and everything else worked fine

If I completely remove MN and clear cookies it works fine until I load a MN page again so there is definitely an issue

Just tried safari again hoping it would be fixed as it's been months now since this was first reported, but still the same problems.

That's what beats me too, @OutdatedOutrage, and while I'm admittedly hopeless with tech I don't understand either why there seems so little control over what's appearing on their own site

Every time we're asked to list devices, link URLs, send screenshots, clear cookies and all the rest, but even when that's done the issues go on and on

It's said that using an adblocker stops some of it, but I'm trying to avoid that since it's hardly fair to rob HQ of an income stream ... though with the way things are going I may have no choice

Except it doesn’t just happen when I “see all”. I tried going back on safari a couple of weeks ago and it caused my entire safari app to just not work, and all I did was simply go on the Mumsnet home page. No other page on safari loaded and I had to use another browser. No other website does this.

It’s nothing to do with the See All in my experience. You sometimes cannot even get on a page to select See All

And how does clicking See All cause other websites to crash which only happens when you tabs open for MN. Close down those tabs and Safari works fine

Nope, I have always been set at 25 posts a page. Yet simply opening the home page causes my safari to crash.

I think it’s when certain animated ads load.

This is happening to me.
I am old school and have the classic setting so no pages. Past week, the site has become almost unusable as almost every thread freezes and I have to stop.

Mine was bad then worked and in the last day or so has started sticking again. I am not sure where things are at with this. Phone works fine, it’s my iPad.

Same for me, just started doing it in the last couple of days. I don't have see all selected in talk settings. I access MN via Chrome on my Google Pixel.
