Constantly crashing and freezing.

This started about 3 weeks ago with constant crashing. Now it’s freezing too and taking ages to load,

Also having the same issue with my iPhone. The website is unusable. However, I’m currently using Google on my iPhone rather than safari and I can use the website without issue

It’s working much better now.

I’ve been trying this and it works much better. Maybe Safari is the issue?

I too have tried google rather than safari on my iphone and so far so good Safari had become totally unusable these past few days, taking at least 4 minutes to load the first page, then crashing and freezing pretty much on every other page after that.

This is still happening to me, to the extent that I've had to download the app just to respond to this thread as the site is literally unusable. Please, please sort it out.

I can use the app on iPad and phone but much prefer the usability of the website. It's fine on my desktop but awful on the iPad, freezing constantly.

It’s mostly working fine on the iPad now, and I didn’t do anything. Occasionally it seems to hesitate, but stops short of freezing.

This is happening to me too! Ironically this thread froze when I first clicked on it. I'm on an android phone and accessing MN through Google as a website, not using the app.

l’ve given up. I hardly visit anymore. Just to check this thread. But it’s a good thing for me that l visit much less.

I tried using Google instead as suggested and it worked! For about a day. Now it’s started glitching and reloading, the same as it started on Safari and getting more frequent. I give up.

Now unable to get onto site at all atm on Safari, despite following instructions.

This just started with my ipad a couple of weeks or so ago. Using Chrome. Can only access first page but when I click to open a thread it freezes. Haven't RTHT yet... Has Mumsnet offered any explanation/solution yet?

Just jumping on to say I still have this issue too.
Iphone safari. It’s so frustrating. Every new page freezes and then the reloading so annoying.

New issue now - iPhone on Safari, if I click on new posts on a thread I’m reading or on the last post on threads I’m on it takes me straight back to the first post

I’m not getting as many crashes- still some- but I’m being taken to the top of the page rather than new posts. Basically unusable.

I am unable to get onto the site at all now and can only post via the app. The page just freezes and I can't do anything unless I close the browser window. Really disappointing that you are seemingly unable to run a functioning website.

I started this thread in July.

It’s just got worse and worse. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to sort out with such a popular website.

Imagine if banks had problems that ran on for 2 months? Or other infrastructure why is it so hard?

It’s horrendous today.
I clicked on this thread at 2pm, it just froze and I was unable to scroll up and down the page, I took a screen shot and decided to time it. It was still showing the little circle of doom at 2:06 and finally fully loaded at 2:07. I shouldn’t have to wait 7 minutes for a page to fully load.

This site is now totally unusable!

For users who are still experiencing this, would you be able to join a call with our tech team? We're struggling to replicate it and we think it'd be really valuable for solving it.

Well Google worked for a few days but now having the exact same problem as I was on safari
