why have we got something so mean and nasty on the top of the page today? Why would you be ridiculing someone like that? So unnecessary and unpleasant. Poor guy didnt ask to be put in this position

I have a couple of friends who have had surgery to pin back their ears because of horrendous bullying at school - how can people justify this?? Fucks sake

Are you incapable of understanding how the act of mocking one person's physical appearance impacts others with similar physicality? And by supporting the use in one instance you inevitably contribute to the acceptance of doing it to others in different instances?

Exactly. Its not about Charles needing sympathy, its about normalising the mocking of people's physical appearances over which they have no control. I am sure many people on this site have physical features they were bullied for at school and now feel really self conscious about (for me, it was my height- being very tall) and putting this up there is basically saying its fine to mock others appearances.

Oh just seen that one of the MN founders is an OBE. So they must feel the RF are good for some things. This logo is childish and stigmatising, just change it please.

Totally agree. It took me a couple of seconds to realise what the picture even was. It’s bizarre that it got approved and posted. Why couldn’t they just have posted the crown as their logo?

It’s horrible. I can’t believe they thought it would be funny? So many threads here talk about the life long effects of bullying as children, something like this gives permission to bullies out there that it’s ok to make fun of how people look. I don’t care about the king, but this is devastating.
