Posted earlier in the thread, but am still so cross that in a week when women's rights have actually taken a step forward with the misogyny of Sturgeon laid bare for all to see, that MN does this.

Women are not a collection of sexual organ havers, we are adult human females. How dare that company reduce us to vulva havers? And it's not just the company's responsibility, MN have collaberated with this company to perpetuate the misogyny. How on earth did they get it so wrong?

A shame, as this could so easily have been different. Just market it as a gentle vibrator and describe its design features, without all of the stuff about womb-havers and sexual taboos. MN could have included the testers' comments highlighting that some new mothers have found it a good product for them.

The womb-havers comment was particularly silly, as the need to avoid penetrative intercourse applies to women who have had hysterectomies, as does the need generally to be very careful in your vulval area while you are still healing, possibly for several months - yet, in their wokeness, they threw what would have been an ideal target market for this product under the bus!

Or perhaps, as hysterectomies are most common in women of middle-age and beyond, it is simply more erasure of the older woman and an underlining of the misogynistic construct that once women are past-childbearing, they are no longer valid sexual beings.
