I am reporting when I see them, to be fair most of them do get moved. Just need to keep reporting them for wrong topic, unless they are in Trending and are actually in the right topic.
If people would take time to check before posting and actually post in the right place there wouldn't be all this annoyance and anger and people not using the site any more. It was like this during Covid, then there was a topic for it and eventually it cooled off, this crap looks as if it going to go on for ages yet. I left because of the Covid stuff taking over everywhere, don't really want to be driven out by such a waste of space this time.

The "interesting discussion" twaddle note seems to be code for many many people posting disgustingly offensive posts about any subject at all. Want to be racist? It's an interesting discussion. Disabilist? It's educational. Bash benefits claimants? It's a topic that's informative. Tell another poster they are an idiot and you are banned! I suspect the site owners like the toxicity because it pulls in the numbers and the stats, supports their marketing. Welcome to capitalism at its best. You can sell anything including vitriol and abuse.

So it would appear that MN are not even moving the most egregiously pointless H&M threads. I reported two today which aren’t even pretending to be a discussion, they’re just ‘ooh I’m in awe of them they’re sooooo wonderful!’ nonsense and they’re still in Chat.
