Is it just on threads it happens or on other parts of the site too? And once it pops up, can you scroll past it or do you have to leave the site and then log back in?

refreshing page doesn’t do anything

This happens on my Mac too. Usually when I try going back to a previous page. I also have to agree to cookies every single time I click a link.

Yep, getting that too on safari on an iPhone. Also the constant requests for consent. I’ve tried following MN advice but that had no effect. Every ten pages or so the screen freezes as well, have to back out of the site and go back in. Getting very frustrated but much more productive in real life so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Its been happening to me too, for the last 2-3 days

I am being asked for consent every time I refresh a page and then intermittently (every 10 or so pages) I get a denial of service.

the URL when that happens is www.mumsnet.com/talk/active

Should add I am browsing on an IPad and have to come right out and go back in again when the Denial od Service screen pops up.

With regards the Cookie consent prompts, please follow the instructions below - it should stop this happening but do let us know if not. (There are several other threads in Site Stuff about this and we're trying to resolve it).

iPhone &iPad - Clear all cookies (Chrome)

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app
At the bottom right, tap More ⋮ > Settings
Tap Privacy > Clear Browsing Data.
Tick Cookies, Site Data. Untick the other items.
Tap Clear Browsing Data > Clear Browsing Data.
Tap Done.

Here are the instructions for Safari:

iPhone & iPad
Navigate to your settings
Click on ‘Safari’
Scroll to the bottom and choose ‘Advanced’
Click on ‘Website Data’
Type ‘Mumsnet' into the search box
Swipe left on ‘Mumsnet’ and choose ‘Delete’

Have just checked this for you.

If you delete all cookies - yes
If you just delete the Mumsnet site data - no

But depending on what device/browser you're using, you might only be able to delete all.

Do you know if you've blocked cookies in your browser settings? Or changed any of the privacy settings in the browser away from the default settings?
