Revert back to previous version?

You must be all so sick of the broken site.

I can't see if this has been suggested but it guess it must have - surely it makes sense to revert the site back to before your latest release?

You've been hugely let down by your developers.

It feels like everyday a new problem pops up. First it was the 404 error. Then the page kept crashing on certain threads. Today I keep being logged out!

I agree. So much of the functionality has been lost or degraded to the point of being virtually unusable. It's such a shame and given that frequently occurring issues that lots of people complain about - dreadful pictures and unworkable links being two that spring to mind - are never even acknowledged and there appears to be no timeline for fixing them, I can only assume that Mumsnet themselves are at a loss.

I can't work out why Mumsnet are persisting with it. It simply does not work. It's got a whiff of "special operation" about it - "everything is going well, we have achieved all our objectives", despite all evidence pointing to the contrary.

Photos and links are shit. And search I find worse than Advance Search before. But I’m honestly not bothered by anything else. And even those things don’t really bother me much! I think I have very low standards or a very high irritation tolerance.

Make sure MN knows your platform and browser versions.

Comments keep cutting off part way through on the iPhone app. Very annoying.

Totally agree it's a mess. And I'm one of those least affected.

Most annoying is the virtually unusable pms now constant glitches still and it's been how long?

The keyboard doesn’t disappear for me so if I don’t post then I can’t get to the active button or the back buttons on my phone. Really annoying!

After the initial bumpy changeover I have had v few issues. I continue to use the mobile site, not the app.

I understand that for VI users there are issues that render the site unusable which is a great shame.

My only cavil is that the search function remains rubbish, absolutely useless, very disappointing that there appear to be no plans to refine.

Hi @EinsteinaGogo we're sorry you're not liking the new site. As Justine says on this thread, Mumsnet is a very large, complicated and old site and so we did anticipate some bugs after re-platforming. We've been working through all the issues as fast as we can but we really do apologise for any inconvenience and frustration caused in the process.

We've been updating the known issues here as we work through them and we really appreciate MNers alerting us when things don't work. Please bear with us! 🙏

You've barely acknowledged the issues with pms

They are virtually impossibly to use now IF you can even access them

On my thread re political questioning I've had no explanation as to why this happened and others were also asking

This is not "a few bugs" at all based on what I have seen and experienced and discussed with other mners there are a lot of quite major issues, a number of mners have said they won't bother using the site any more

It is annoying - not only the bugs themselves but the seeming lack of response and action from mn

It's a new platform and probably cost a fortune. Not going to happen.

I don't get the issues many people talk about. I don't use the app though. Maybe a new app is needed.

That page doesn't update us on your progress, it allows you aren't listing to us.

You promised us the advanced search back, given your current one is unusable. Please stop saying it's an improvement. Your update broke search, and no amount of faffing with pointless sliders will resolve this.

I thought it must be me that the site had error message then keeps crashing so I have to constantly close and refresh.

It's so irritating to see these repeated silly replies from MN. The trite 'bear with us while we work through the issues'.

But they are not making any progress.

The idea that it's an old site / platform & therefore complicated it a silly point too. Plenty of other services face the same issue. Sure a few bugs might be expected, not wide scale chaos, with no communication.
