Can't unwatch a withdrawn thread

I've tried unwatching this thread: www.mumsnet.com/talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/4542155-partner-miserable-at-a-show

On my I'm Watching list I click on the little dustbin and it asks me if I want to unwatch, which I agree with. Then a little purple message pops up telling me it's unwatched, but the thread is still there on my list!

I've managed to unwatch some other threads since the site change, but I think this is the first one that's been "Withdrawn", so don't know if that's the reason for the difficulty?

Hi @NumberTheory and thanks for letting us know. We've investigated and it looks like a glitch in the system. We'll fix it asap.

NumberTheory · 04/05/2022 14:48

It’s gone now. Thank you!

@MichaelMumsnet Another one that won't go away: www.mumsnet.com/talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/4545077-to-think-it-will-be-a-hassle-to-add-a-middle-name

Sorry to hear this, @NumberTheory - is it still an issue?

NumberTheory · 10/05/2022 15:54

No. It seems to have gone. Is this an issue where I need to notify you to get rid of the thread or is the thread actually being removed but when the screen refreshes it still has the old information? And if it's actually being removed but not showing, is the issue with your code or my setup?

I guess I'm asking whether I should keep posting, investigate my own setup or just accept that the site is quite glitchy?

Definitely don't accept it as the site being glitchy!

It should all be sorted now, so shouldn't happen going forward. If it continues to happen, we will take another look and get it sorted out. Flowers

Thanks Lily.

FYI: I've had this happen a few more times now. Latest thread that wouldn't disappear when I clicked was:
www.mumsnet.com/talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/4554224-to-throw-their-beer-down-the-sink

But I've realised if I refresh the page it does go. So it's probably updating the database but not always redrawing the page?

@LilyMumsnet

This one isn't going even if I refresh:

@LilyMumsnet
Another thread that I can't unwatch:

This has gone now.

It seems like I get problems if I'm deleting several threads from my watchlist one after the other. After a while they stop disappearing when I click the button even though the purple note at the bottom comes up telling me it's been deleted. If I refresh the page they're still there. But if I go off and read other threads, post, etc. when I come back they're gone.
