Morning, everyone. Thanks for your patience with this one. We've just asked Tech for an update. They're still working on it - it's proving to be a bit more complex than they thought as it's only happening on some browsers and they're dealing with third parties to sort it. So it's not really a simple fix. But as soon as there's any news we'll let you know.

It started happening, to me, some months ago. But rarely. Maybe once or twice a session.

Then suddenly, it's all the time.

I don't know if that's significant.

I had a day free of it yesterday, now it has come back with a vengeance.

Mumsnet you really need to invest in some decent IT support to sort this out. You give the impression of one guy in a cupboard under the stairs switching things off and then on again...

Use some of that lucrative advertising money that must be pouring in, given half of the darn page at any one time is taken up with adverts.

Do your advertisers know how bad this issue is?

I just updated my iPhone to iOS 13.1.1 and the problem has disappeared for me - I’m accessing through Chrome.

I’ve just downloaded chrome for my iPad and it’s now not happening. Chrome on the iPad is horrible though.

Well now it has stopped on Chrome also. As well as safari! How can this be? That it stops and starts for some people.

Still going for me, Safari on Mac. Never actually stopped.

Have now had 4 days of an unusable site.

On the plus side the house is clean and there is no ironing.
