Yes, it would be good to have someone on who could discuss their extensive life experience rather than politicians who try to "sell" their views to us.

bitteroldhag · 05/03/2017 18:10

Richard obrien agrees with this, even though he's transgender he has spoken out about not ever being 100 % a woman.

Could you get him on?

HopelesslydevotedtoGu · 05/03/2017 18:55

Yes I'd love to see a webchat from Jenni

HiDBandSIL · 05/03/2017 19:24

Jenni Murray - yes brilliant!! Please ask her

goodthinking99 · 05/03/2017 19:56

And me too, and also ask Miranda yardley too...brilliant thinking from both around issues with direct and massive impact on women.

AskBasil · 05/03/2017 22:13

We've been asking for Julia Long for months, but for some reason MN haven't asked her on, even though they agreed to invite her.

But maybe Jenni M is too important a broadcaster to ignore the requests for a webchat with her?

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 05/03/2017 22:24

Miranda Yardley's taking an indefinite break from gender politics (recent announcement on Facebook).

Yes please!

Miranda Yardley's taking an indefinite break from gender politics

I saw that too - I hope she's OK Sad

EatSpamAmandaLamb · 06/03/2017 00:41

Yes please.
And please don't let activists try to no platform her. Her opinions are valid and it would be interesting to have an adult discussion with her.

NauticalDisaster · 06/03/2017 12:50

I would also like this. I think she needs our support for putting herself out there with this.

Loveandtrust · 06/03/2017 14:18

I'd also like MN to ask Jenni Murray in for a webchat.

childmaintenanceserviceinquiry · 06/03/2017 14:28

sounds a good idea to me

Kr1stina · 06/03/2017 15:55

Excellent idea

BagelGoesWalking · 06/03/2017 21:18

Another idea is to send an email to the BBC showing your support of Jenni Murray. I think it's important for them to see that many, many women support her.

HumphreyCobblers · 06/03/2017 21:20

I would like this too.

picklemepopcorn · 06/03/2017 21:36

Yes please! We can all tell her 'thank you!'

dorade · 06/03/2017 22:40

Yes please can we have Jenni on here Interesting that Jess Phillips MP tweeted today that she agreed with the JM article.

averylongtimeago · 06/03/2017 22:45

Great idea, yes please!

SloanyAnne · 06/03/2017 22:50

Yes please.
And what Bagel said.

DancingLedge · 06/03/2017 23:08

Yes please, this is really important

BagelGoesWalking · 07/03/2017 09:19

PLEASE have a look at this thread and join in with support for the letter mentioned, if you can!

SecondRow · 07/03/2017 09:20

Yes please - adding my voice to this request.

KateMumsnet · 07/03/2017 10:29

Hello all

It looks as though Jenni won't be commenting further on this issue, but we'll give it a bash. She might be happy to come on and talk more generally - we'll drop her a line.
