Any progress with the "freezing" problem?

I know there's a long thread about longstanding site issues where the freezing has been mentioned, but ironically I can't see it because it's frozen. Is tech any closer to a solution because it's beyond annoying. Thanks.

Mine keeps freezing on iPhone. Is this a MN issue?

I couldn't use MN on my iPhone or iPad earlier - would load the top few posts and then freeze completely

Finally installed adblocker in desperation and things have improved.

I would really like to know what the smurf missing a football on a huge white square is meant to be advertising. Is it supposed to be doing that?

Ad blocker has fixed the issue for me too.
