Is the iOS app down?

I can get into anything else on this device - including the main MN site - but not, seemingly, the iOS app. Has it been taken out of service for a bit?

I've been having trouble loading the messages especially this afternoon.

Mines not working either! Checked on site checker thing and said all fine

Ah Yes, LIZS. I should have said. It's the loading of threads that's the problem. It seems to respond when you hit the bottom buttons - you're given a list of threads - but that's as far as you can go.

My app is down too (iOS).

Me too. Can see list of threads but they won't load so am using Safari.

Yep me too, I thought I might have been removed or something so I'm on here on a browser instead. My app is completely dead and won't load anything.

Yep same here - will load the threads list in active but when I try to click into a thread it tells me there's a problem with my connection and try refreshing.

Same problem here. It started off intermittently so I thought it was a connection problem but it then became permanent. It's not just for active but for watching too (can see thread list but not load the content).

I can use the site from the browser on my phone, just not the app.

Can't open any threads on the Android app, but can use the website fine (q.e.d.)

Hey guys, thanks for raising this. There's an issue with the server at the moment so both the iOS and Android apps aren't able to open any threads.

It's usually something quite minor that causes these bugs, so it should be sorted soon. Thanks for your patience!

Me too, have come onto the website but I miss the app!
