Reading a thread when suddenly the page changed to a rather graphic video! I'm on an I pad (using safari) and I definitely haven't been on any dodgy sites, is this a mumsnet problem or an iPad problem?

Don't worry, it has happened before and is a troll glitch basically so nothing to do with anyone's browsing history

Just had it happen again but with some sort of credit card/dodgy looking money site. Before I saw the post about taking a screenshot though, if it happens again I'll take one.

I was reading the 'is this sepsis' thread, moved onto page 2 and got this cartoon picture instead of a man and woman DTD. There was a message on it I can't remember what it said, something to do with don't look at this web page.

I hit the back button to be greeted with naked woman and flashing yellow page with address bar showing something like zerwin???

I haven't used FB on safari and this page jumped up from nowhere

What exactly is a troll glitch? That's not explaining to me how porn bypassed my internet provider protection and landed on my screen.

Should I stop my DC from using this device? Is it linked to only MN and only certain threads?

Any answers?

Just happened to me too. On iPad using Safari. Sorry, no screenshot as I closed the browser down immediately.

Always remember to clear your Safari cache regularly. It helps a lot.

Just happened to me. Very graphic picture! It was difficult to close too as it said it was loading so lucky dc were not around.

Me too I get a fully naked women with her legs open

I've cleared my cache cozie and now MN is taking ages to respond...to the point I feel like giving up. I've never had any security worries with another site but last year's MN attacks and now porn from this site has made me very uncomfortable.

Not sure why clearing my cache would prevent it as I really don't visit porn sites and am sole user of this iPad?

Oh I've known loads have sites have glitches!!! But none have involved hacking users I'd, swat teams or porn

Just posted about this, same thing, iPad and safari. It has the word Facebook in the address.

I had the same thing today on an iPad. MN suddenly redirected to a site called watch my girlfriend which was porn.
