Livid - porn on my phone! please help

I'm not the most tech savvy person, can anyone help please?

Last night I was posting on Mumsnet and an advert for a sex chat site appeared out of nowhere which had a close up video of a woman using a vibrator on herself that completely filled the screen .

How did I inadvertently do this? It was on the Louise Mensch thread, I followed a link to the tweet and read it, then went back to post my message. I think when I hit post is when the porn appeared but I can't be entirely sure. I couldn't work out how to get it to stop either for a minute, or how to close the page.

I don't want porn on my phone ffs! What can I do?

I've had the Tesco one twice. I hadn't clicked on anything, was just redirected while reading. I'm on a galaxy s7. It's really annoying

Pressing and holding on the pop up itself did not highlight anything to copy so I clicked OK on a pop up!!!! Which went against every single instinct so that I could get a url

If it's not fixed or ads turned off soon I am flouncing.

Just got the supermarket one again, despite clearing cache about an hour ago (at some inconvenience as will now have to log back in to every site). HTC phone, Android, chrome, not via a link. Please get it sorted!

Yes apparently so. All our family kindles are linked to the same Amazon account. I'm not technically minded so assume that the other Kindle belonging to DD has become cross infected from mine?

So this has just started to be an issue for me and I find out looking here that it's been going on for the best part of a week?!

I don't think that would happen would it? The Kindle infection thing I mean. It's interesting if this is an upsurge in other places than MN, too.

Well as I have already said, I'm not technically minded, so I wouldn't know whether it was possible to spread between linked kindles. All I can say is that DD told me she had the supermarket pop up appear twice on her kindle today and she definitely does not use MN and I haven't used her kindle to access it either. Perhaps it is also coming from another unknown source? Maybe an app?

I've just had 2 of the most disgusting graphic porn ads fill my phone screen from clicking on theads within the Health section.

I'm appalled.

Please sort this out and fast.

I don't want to run the risk of porn sites infecting my Kindle or the DCs so will watch this thread with interest. If it isn't possible to fix it then I'm closing my MN account (still remembering all the site security issues from around this time last year - coincidence ??).

I have proper antivirus on. And I've never had it before in several years of using a smartphone. Still Chrome on Samsung a3, or a5.

Am getting pretty annoyed now, its annoying to have had the Tesco one pop up whilst deep into a tread. Mainly as I have to close the tab to get rid of it and then have to find my place 10pages in
But I've now had a porn one take over the tab (I took a screen shot if its of use but im not clucking anything)

I've been having issues too, although I think just today. I've had lots of blank pages and the pop up saying my Lumia has been selected to win a prize, then the red malware screen. No porn or Tesco yet.

Twas on the other thread and reported myself. Tesco comp winner one out of nowhere. And graphic porn one when I pressed active button...just. won't let you press the back button either. Samsung A3 on browser.

I've now just had a different porn site pop up whilst posting on this thread!
