Chattings nice I like it. Can it possible for us to have a place to chat banalities without being shouted at by the Me Me Fucking Me brigade, where serious rules all and all frippery and nonsense must be curtailed in favour of BIG SERIOUS TALK ABOUT BIG SERIOUS ISSUES, THAT AFFECT ME.

I promise if you do, I'll stay there Thanks

I will come out looking like a contestant on Double or Drop on Crackerjack having forgotten any bags. With the clingfilm balancing precariously on the top. Grin

CantSee4Looking · 18/11/2015 15:52

Nah you will forget the clingfilm. It is the law of sod. Halloween Grin

Sparklingbrook · 18/11/2015 15:55

Grin I had two things to get from Sainsbos, one was clingfilm. Got distracted by the Mogs.

I was lurking on here this morning, got as far as the vajazzle discussion and went to work, where I stuck yesterday's Woman's Hour podcast on, lo and behold there was a discussion about vajazzling, I now know more than I really wanted to. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 18/11/2015 16:04

Maryz (b)

I seem to be watching a tv programme with Len goodman and Ainsley Harriot in. I haven't a scooby what's going on.

The people in Escape to the Country didn't buy any of the houses. Again. Angry

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 18/11/2015 16:05

We ended up having a chat in my office about dyeing underarm hair.

I think the blokes heard more than they really wanted to Grin but in some circles it is apparently a Thing. Fluorescent even.

I knew a couple who were on Escape to the Continent. They seriously wanted to find a house but none of the houses they were shown even came close to matching their criteria.

ExitPursuedByABear · 18/11/2015 16:09
Bear

I am still waiting for my santa hat.

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 18/11/2015 16:10

Maryz Grin Actually I approve of that.

Sparklingbrook · 18/11/2015 16:10

I especially like Escape to the Country when those well known property gurus Aled 'Snowman' Jones and Nickypopidol present it. Grin

EmpressKnowsWhereHerTowelIs · 18/11/2015 16:11

It would also mean that people were less likely to have dangerous Immac around the house.....

I'd guess they have both and that it's a statement against women's bodies being expected to be hairless.

I love the pastel hair dyes around at the moment - wouldn't get away with them at work unfortunately Sad but the thought of matching blue or pink hair & pits is rather tempting.

cashewnutty · 18/11/2015 16:19

I haven't rtft but on initial perusal I think I have found my people. I love banal. Am supposed to be working but will come back later for more banality.

PunkrockerGirl · 18/11/2015 16:27

I missed the end sparkling, I was convinced they'd buy house no. 3 Smile
Changing the subject, has anyone seen the Star wars edition of the John Lewis Christmas ad? Sorry can't link, but it's easy to find if you google it. Ds2 showed it to me last night and it made me chuckle. Don't watch it if you've got young children though!

CantSee4Looking · 18/11/2015 16:28

But if there is no immac around the house how the feck am I suppose to keep the shower drain from clogging up?

I've seen that program sparking the one with Russel Grant eating the food had some amazing looking food and made me hungry.

I have been sent to bed by ds with a stern lecture about the impact of lack of sleep. He is ten, but apparently it is me who is grounded with a screen ban Hmm takes ds' approach to screen bans until caught out

PunkrockerGirl · 18/11/2015 16:32

I meant don't watch it if you've got young children around, obviously Blush

Bonxie · 18/11/2015 16:32

I'm watching an episode of Bergerac and a young policeman just burst into an interview announcing - with some urgency - "Barney is eating the carpet!"

Oh the eighties!

Fiderer · 18/11/2015 16:40

I'd love Trivial Shit. Am good at trivial & like chatting. Have all but a few topics hidden but don't post much apart from in Telly Addicts which is less fraught.

As for chocolate, we used to stock up on Cadbury's when home and now German chocolate tastes better and my nephews ask me to bring some over to them Hmm

SconeForAStroll · 18/11/2015 16:51

Those pink pits looked like they had a nasty dose of mange.

Yay for trivial shit!

B&M are cornering the market around here, no home bargains to be found Sad. Love wilkos and poundland though. I have nearly finished my Christmas shopping which means I can just eat and drink myself stupid enjoy watching over people zoom around.

Looking at dh there. I know beyond all doubt that Christmas Eve will find him in town desperately looking for inspiration. Which will probably take the form of the exact same gift he gave me last year. Wink

Sparklingbrook · 18/11/2015 17:17

Yay!! time for Pointless.
