Voice adverts!

How do I stop the awful voice over adverts that keep appearing? One for Radox and now one with some bloke talking about London being the most popular city. It's driving me batty! The only thing that stops them is to close down mumsnet everytime.

I keep getting the Jurasic World ad with ASDA - which starts making a noise about 10 seconds after I've remained on a page. Can't use MN if it's going to do that:(

I'm using a laptop with Chrome browser.

The dinosaurs are back for me when I go to Active Threads the 30 minutes peace were nice while they lasted!

Hi Better, the ad should still be there but it shouldn't be auto-playing sound like it was before, is that not the case for you?

Hi, sorry been out away from MN
I'm sure it was playing sound when I posted earlier - and indeed for that half hour peace it didn't pop out at all which was great.
Now, the first ad (7 second one) pops up silently (on the phone it takes over the whole screen) but the second one (20 seconds) still auto plays sound. I don't remember any take over/pop up ads before the last few days!

These are the screenshots of both ads if it helps. It's always these ones, in the same order and (now) with only sound on 2nd, longer, one.

Its all quiet here, thank you. The only dinosaurs roaring now are in my kitchen getting under my feet while I cook dinner...

I have 2 different Jurassic Park ads, one under the trending box and one across the top of the right hand side of the screen but at least they seem to be silent now.

I don't know about anyone else but advert overkill like this just makes me more likely not to buy, sorry Asda but you're wasting your budget on me.
