I'd like a Kenneth topic

For those people who's lives have been touched in some way by a Kenneth.

And those that feel their Kennethless lives lack something and want support in getting to a Kenneth.

It would be nice to have a space to escape the madness to discuss the many factions of Kenneth's.

When will this be ready HQ?

Kens are different to Kenneths.

Kens are still trying.

Kenneths have capitulated.

When I was 8, all my parent's friends were called Ken.

Well, only the bloke friends obvs.

why are we talking about Kens?

It's not coming back. Don't do it.

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 31/05/2015 16:08

So what about people who identify as Ken or Kenneth depending on the situation?

PiggyPlumPie · 03/06/2015 08:49

My nephew was born on Monday and has the middle name of Kenneth!

Is this the start of the revolution?

I'd rather have a toilet brush topic.
We always have hours of fun with those: They have everything you could want - drama, stinks, skid marks, pearl-clutching body orifices ... Smile

BigChocFrenzy · 03/06/2015 20:47

Maybe a loo brush called Ken, as a Mumsnet compromise

ErrolTheDragon · 03/06/2015 21:26

Maybe you should claim that mysterious 'Down the Plughole' topic, though I'm not sure I like the sound of clutching pearls in body orifices - is that a posh alternative to 'clench'Confused?

Trills · 03/06/2015 21:29

Maybe if we all pool our Kenneth-based knowledge we will once and for all be able to answer the question

bialystockandbloom · 03/06/2015 21:36

Has kendoddsdadsdog been in yet? She could lead the long march here.

Speaking of Ken Dodd, allegedly one of his niece's went to my primary school, but the rumour was unsubstantiated.

BIWI · 03/06/2015 21:39

I'd like it to be spelled Ceny'th, to make it a bit more unique.

bialystockandbloom · 03/06/2015 21:40

Are lesser-known Carry On Kenneths welcome here?

Perpendicular, does he park across other people's drives and hog tables in cafes?

Hassled · 03/06/2015 21:48

"Kenneth Kaunda had a brief effect on my life, if that's any help." - Footle - me too. I've never before conversed with anyone else non-family where that was true.

Where are we with Kenneth Clarke? I've always had a bit of a soft spot for him.

< pearls firmly clutched in body orifice >

LynetteScavo · 03/06/2015 22:18

I have no Kenneth in my life, past or present.

Kenny is on my dog list names, though. Just incase I ever get a dog.
