I'd like a Kenneth topic

For those people who's lives have been touched in some way by a Kenneth.

And those that feel their Kennethless lives lack something and want support in getting to a Kenneth.

It would be nice to have a space to escape the madness to discuss the many factions of Kenneth's.

When will this be ready HQ?

My postman is a Kenneth and he is a lovely chap. I knew a Kenneth who was born in '82-83 he was a proper Kenneth iykwim?

As my postman is out and about all day please can we have a sub-sub section for out and about Kenneths and at home Kenneths?

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 23/05/2015 15:59

Ooh. Do we also need to consider sections for proper and improper Kenneths?

mrstweefromtweesville · 23/05/2015 16:01

Kenneth is a postman locally. He's in his early thirties.

TiggyD · 23/05/2015 16:02

Maybe just a section on here is just thinking too small.

What about Kensnet? A whole site dedicated to Kennethdom!

ThursdayLast · 23/05/2015 16:03

I met a Danish Kenneth when I was travelling Australia.

We're still Facebook friends in spite of me not understanding any of his Danish posts Confused

HoneyDragon · 23/05/2015 16:06

hang on a minute....

You guys research by using Urbsn Dictionary?!

The Wright Stuff researchers use Mumsnet for research.

(I think I've discovered why the media's dumbing down)

Anyway it shouldn't need research it should be a total shoo in.

It will be VERY popular you may want to call it

_Kenneth

In my younger days, when I was a girl, I was truly madly deeply in love with a Kenneth, he had wonderful hands. Smile

TiggyD · 23/05/2015 16:11

All Kenneths do Allalonenow.

VanillaTwirl · 24/05/2015 17:15

I knew a Kenneth at primary school.

Also know a grown up Kenneth.

I am a Kenneth officionado.

Pastamancer · 27/05/2015 11:51

My favourite Carry On star is a Kenneth

I'd like a Kenneth topic

It gets my vote and in our line of work, the Urban dictionary* is a bookmarked site. I can assure you, we use it more than we'd care to.
*other sites that describe all manner of filth are available.

I'd like a Kenneth topic

I don't know any Kenneths at all but I'm willing to change the dog's name to Kenneth. Would that count?

LikeABadSethRogenMovie · 27/05/2015 13:32

The only Kenneth I know is now called Diane (for real). Are those who turned their back on their Kennethness welcome or are they cast into the wilderness? Or the wildianeness in this case.

HoneyDragon · 27/05/2015 17:23

Another reason for the decline of Kenneth's, some have Kenneth forced upon them when they no they are not one.

My Dad is a Kenneth. DH and I decided against using it for our son though, sorry Blush

The only other Kenneth I have met was a barfly regular in a pub I used to work in, he was a hoot.

With my sample of two, I have concluded that all who are named Kenneth are awesome [gavel]

Seffina · 29/05/2015 11:37

It seems I killed Kenneth...

Grin
HoneyDragon · 31/05/2015 00:03

Never.

I shall sing we shall overcome at MNHQ if I have to. But the need for a Kenneth topic will never die.

There's a house called Kenneth near where I live. The name is carved into the stone above the front door

LittleMissIntrovert · 31/05/2015 00:24

I have a relation who is called Kenneth he is very dull

So I don't know which sub section that would come under?

Maybe AIBK am I being kennethist?

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 31/05/2015 00:24

Well, you've got Rebecca on side, Honey.

OR you could claim The Plughole, which is currently empty.

thornrose · 31/05/2015 00:26

Oh my god. My dd has terrible anxiety, depression and paranoia. She has irrational paranoid thoughts about our neighbour, his name is Kenneth!

He is wholly innocent but Kenneth is now associated with bad stuff for me now!

Pipbin · 31/05/2015 00:28

Have we got this far without the mention of Kenneth Kendal?

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 31/05/2015 00:29

Ken Barlow was very dull too.

ErrolTheDragon · 31/05/2015 00:57

I am kennethless since DHs Uncle Ken died, so have no particular need of this topic. However I'm now consumed with curiosity as to why there is an empty 'The Plughole' thread. WTAF?
