Following on from discussion on another thread - could we have a Scottish section, please?

The local information is good, but it is too local to apply to the whole of Scotland, if you see what I mean.

Rejoins thread cos I'm not talking to Mr Chen

So - are we having a meet up then? In our summer dresses and winter coats natch.

Mrsjayy · 02/04/2015 22:04

OOH what has Mr Chen done

KatieScarlettreregged · 02/04/2015 22:06

LTB Wink
I'll come out to play, I've a lovely winter coat that'll go just fine with my wedges (happy).

SirChenjin · 02/04/2015 22:11

Long story Mrsjayy but it involves money and lack thereof. I stormed out to the supermarket with the older 2 and came back to a washing still in the machine, dishes to be unloaded and put away, stuff everywhere after dinner and him sitting on his backside watching the fucking election debate whilst ignoring vaguely supervising the youngest Chen. I don't like him very much at the moment, and we're supposed to be going away for our 20th anniversary next weekend Hmm

Sorry - rant over Blush

KatieScarlettreregged · 02/04/2015 22:20

Sounds crap (hug)
I've DH and his friends plus DS playing fecking darts in the kitchen. Weekly horror-fest of noisy drinkyness. And shit music. I may kill them all with an axe one day and as I've PMT right now they are skating on thin ice Angry

KatieScarlettreregged · 02/04/2015 22:36

Yes, cake and death to the fecking Stranglers at 10 decibels, you know I hate them you bastards
Hey, this is the yet to be named Scots/Scotland/Scots Corner net, we can hug if we want to. Except for Mrsj she's a bit handsy Wink

SirChenjin · 02/04/2015 22:46

I had heard that about her. It may very well be that's what got her expelled from Netmums.

Mrsjayy · 02/04/2015 22:49

Och that sounds tough it would pee me off too

Mrsjayy · 02/04/2015 22:50

[Blush]

GrouchyKiwi · 02/04/2015 23:08

If there's actual touching count me out.

[revolted emoticon]

SirChenjin · 03/04/2015 07:51

Can we agree that in extreme circumstances an awkward pat on the arm is allowed?

Christinayangstwistedsister · 03/04/2015 07:57

Garden furniture????? Well that's put the nail in the coffin, will be Baltic now puts wedges back in box

MrsPeabody · 03/04/2015 08:07

I think a Scottish board would be far better than local boards up here. Scotland's a small place.

SirChenjin · 03/04/2015 08:11

Hope no-one minds, but I'm going to chase MNHQ about this...we've not heard anything from them one way or another

AddToBasket · 03/04/2015 09:40

They've only had a week. It's hardly urgent.

I'm sure they'll appreciate the enthusiasm but you can see that they might be discussing whether England, Wales and N.Ireland need boards. Or other countries. And whether this is actually not a good idea as it is a bit divisive and might be political.

KatieScarlettreregged · 03/04/2015 10:11

They already said yes, just the name to settle.

OatcakeCravings · 03/04/2015 10:42

What is all this warm weather you speak of? Wedges? In April?

Shivering of Aberdeen.

SirChenjin · 03/04/2015 10:45

Did I miss the bit where they said yes? Confused

I didn't say it was 'urgent'.

KatieScarlettreregged · 03/04/2015 10:46

Tomorrow and Sunday according to my lying weather app for Fife.
I was out first thing today. Uggs were necessary Smile

Christinayangstwistedsister · 03/04/2015 10:52

I hope you let your coral nail polish dry before you shoved your feet in you uggs....

Christinayangstwistedsister · 03/04/2015 10:53

No, not divisive or political, just people want to talk about local and relevant issue

SirChenjin · 03/04/2015 10:53

Coral nail polish and Uggs? Shock

I'm terribly sorry Katie, but I'm afraid there is no room for your out of date nails and furry boots here

KatieScarlettreregged · 03/04/2015 10:53

27/3 at 11:08 SirC lovely.
Did Mr C survive last night?
Mr S is at work today and I hope he is enjoying his hangover as much as I'm enjoying my BH day off. Wink
