MN making safari crash?

Every time I have been on Mn this morning it keeps crashing safari.
It doesn't do it on any other website.
I'm using an iPad.
Any ideas what's going on or how I can fix it?

This is just maddening, it's been happening for ages to me, and yes, only on Mumsnet. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm off to netmums.

This is still happening and more than annoying its only MN ....you say you will post on this thread when its sorted - it takes me 4 times of being signed out to even get to this thread ........so won't be checking regularly - sorry !!

Still happening here too ! The crashes seem to be getting more frequent, clicking on the link, just now, about MN crashing Safari, made Safari crash !
Very, very frustrating !

MN crashed at least 10 times last night. Kept typing posts and then it crashes and I would lose what I have typed.

Glad I found this thread as I thought it was my iPad getting old and laggy. It's very annoying and seems to happen when I try and view a new page. Please fix it as the app just isn't the same!

Still happening. The pages aren't loading properly half the time either. The page gets really big so you can only see 'Talk' and 'Pregnancy' out of the banner on the top and the loading freezes.

This is incredibly frustrating.

I'm reading this thread, last crash was at 14.55 today. Got iOS 8.2 and latest Safari.

Also constantly reloads. Just MN.

Afternoon all. Not great news we're afraid, but just to keep you all updated, Tech are pretty sure this is a bug in Safari iOS rather than a bug with Mumsnet. They are continuing to investigate to see if there's anything that can be done, but it is something that's happening on other websites, too. We will update again if there is any further news. Apologies again for any inconvenience - we know it's really annoying.

In the interests of research only, I've just been over to the fluffy side. I moved about between pages, clicking as much as I could and it didn't crash once. The minute I come back onto MN it starts again.

How does Tech explain that?

It's definitely only mumsnet. I am on iOS 7.1.2. I have been forced to get the app but I don't like it as it doesn't highlight the posts of the OP and doesn't give an option to load as pages rather than a whole thread.

Update on the update... Tech have just put in a small workaround for the Safari bug. Could anyone tell us if that seems to have made any difference? Many thanks!
