Such a big thank you! My gift arrived today - I haven't opened it yet as I am saving it for Xmas day. I can't believe how lucky I have been as this is the second gift I have received. I really don't deserve them. I said in my previous thank you note that it is truly humbling to see the generosity of others towards people they have never met. It may sound silly but your gift has touched me and makes me feel all warm inside.

Yay! It finally arrived! After two weeks I was beginning to wonder, then it appeared like magic Saturday overnight.

I was delighted to be nominated and I've been under the weather following surgery for the past month so all this was greatly cheering. I have exactly in mind what the voucher will go towards for DD, thanks!

The story is... I posted the parcel (from Scotland). It isn't going to mainland UK. The entire address label (inc. stamp/postage) was ripped off en route, and ended up with the recipient on its own! Pippafisher's dh is a postman dealing with mail going on planes. He saw this unmarked parcel, opened it and saw my card with the code name on it. He wrote it down and when he got home pippafisher googled it. By sheer fluke, I'd posted (using the correct SantaA alias) to say it had been sent - so she found this thread! The parcel is now in transit to MN5544, and pippafisher won't even take reimbursement for the extra postage, so a mug is the very LEAST we can do. I'm so grateful. Even a bit teary .

Just hope this is the final instalment - waiting with bated breath!

A lovely parcel has arrived today. I'm so excited - thank you so very very much :) I didn't even know they could arrive on Sundays. My family are making me wait until Christmas to open it, so I'll be back!

Wowee - thank you so much for the box of treats that just arrived! I was pretty overwhelmed opening the package, I felt like I was ten years old again. We completely agree cozie and thanks for the suggestion. It might not be a mug, but a goody parcel has your name on it pippafisher. Please could you mail [email protected] with an address you'd be happy for us to use? We'll PM pippafisher too, just to be sure she sees this.

I absolute agree that Pippafisher and her DH have been absolutely marvelous. I think this will be the story of 2014. And, Sandy, it's lovely that you have a 'goody parcel' to send to the 'fisher' family.

I would of posted this days ago but couldn't manage the name change !

I was so surprised to be nominated and when our parcel arrived we did spend a couple of days trying to decide whether to open it before Christmas. We did in the end and I was so touched with the care and thought taken with the contents and all wrapped so beautifully, that I was in happy tears whilst looking through it.

We are so looking forward to playing the game on Christmas day and for months to come

Dear Xmas2014SantaA8026, I was notified by MN on Wednesday that you had sent me a Secret Santa parcel, which was incredibly touching and unexpected.

I do think even being nominated is such a lovely part of the whole present. Now I was hoping that I could come here to thank you properly, but I'm afraid that we left for our family Christmas trip before the mail arrived on Friday... So I will be in suspense for a while longer yet!!

Just wondering if you've received more than one package yet? I don't think your description above exactly matches what I sent (mine wasn't a game to play), and as I'm SantaB (and also SantaC, but I think that's a glitch!) you should be getting another parcel too . . .

One containing wrapped presents with rhyming couplets on the labels which made me smile...I can't write poems

The other a family game from amazon.
