Did you ban John Hemming (the MP) for outing me ?

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 23:47

Cos he isn't on The Thread.

And I'd like to know why.

I am immaginging that the party whip we've been phoning, emailing and twittering has tied him up and run off with his keyboard.

Can I hang on to that fantasy, or did you ban him ?

It's not the end of the world to me that he posted my twitter account, knowing it was me and knowing it was my real name. But I will quickly drum up some minding if required to purge MN of his presence.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 29/12/2013 22:47

Spero, both you and I have a bit of a sense of deja vu when reading that thread [sigh]

Hats off to everyone. I haven't the energy to fight him anywhere, tbh.

CarpeVinum · 29/12/2013 22:47

Yis!

Oh, and for anyone who is interested, I got a tad cross on this thread which appeared at the height of the trolling of the adoption boards.

Some of you may like to have a look at a few of my posts and be slightly amused by how we were allowed to talk to each other back in the day Grin

PacificDingbat · 29/12/2013 22:48

I've hear of gerbils but not of ebil husbands

MaryZ, I think you have done you bit. And some. Thanks

CarpeVinum · 29/12/2013 22:49

PacificDingbat · 29/12/2013 22:53

Do you win a bottle of champers when you reach 1000, Carpe?

CarpeVinum · 29/12/2013 22:55

Xhampers ! I hope so !

Maryz Grin

"are you stupid?" Given who you were speaking to, is the a swer...Yes! Grin

Ohhh you lot got away with so much more back then.

OP posts:
MadameDefarge · 29/12/2013 22:57

ah the good old days...

PacificDingbat · 29/12/2013 22:58

"Are you stupid?" is a question, not a PA

I remember the Good Old Days - I don't actually think it's changed that much, but some things are a bit overcomplicated.

"You sound like a twat" is more complicated to type than "You twat" Grin

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 29/12/2013 22:58

I know, it was great.

melvin is/was IJ, btw. And most of his threads (many of which JH appeared on) are thankfully gone. The worst were the threads with his advice in mental health. Much of his advice was shocking.

MadameDefarge · 29/12/2013 22:59

I got told to fuck the fuck off today!

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 29/12/2013 22:59

Now you have to type "your posts on this thread make you sound like a twat" and even then more often than not it's deleted Sad

PacificDingbat · 29/12/2013 22:59

I saw, Madame

Spero · 29/12/2013 23:00

Omg! Do we know for certain it was IJ or is that educated guess? And was thatguy (or similar) another alias?

MadameDefarge · 29/12/2013 23:00
CarpeVinum · 29/12/2013 23:01

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 29/12/2013 23:05

No, we know for certain. He admitted it on some thread.

Yes, thatguy was him too. He admitted that too (at least thatguy admitted writing parts of IJ's site - there was another possible name being bandied around at the time, but I can't remember what it was.

I do know JH only ever posted as JH. But they were on some of the same threads and JH always refused to distance himself from anything the others said.

Spero · 29/12/2013 23:05

Bloody hell.

@ BattyBetty ... I agree with esmerdoo. It is best to be very careful what one says to any GP relating to possible harm to a child. I think it is very unlikely that anyone who really was intending to harm their child would say that to a GP. However, if someone says they are thinking of harming their child it is quite possible, or even likely, that the GP will inform Social Services and depending on the general circumstances that may lead to the child or children being forcibly adopted!

CarpeVinum · 29/12/2013 23:06

That Mme really knew what she was talking about twitterwise !

0-60 after she sorted us out.
